MW2 is epic.
They are having problems with the party invites right now, but it should be sorted out by tomorrow.

The second level is at an airport where the objective is to kill innocent people till the police get there. (SPOILER ALLERT - You get killed at the end of that level )

But the online is amazing. graphics are insane . . you can see what every player is doing in detail.

So far I have made it through the whole single player and 50% of the online achievements. Playing with friends helps, as a group (clan) we are now 71 - 0.

it is for all systems except for wii i think?

got my plugs and wire and coils installed. everything went well. car stalled for a while but now it is fine. i did break one part ! the little clip that holds the wires onto the coil. it still slips on but i guess it could slip off if shaken enough / in the right direction?

so far so good, it was stalling but it isn't any more.

Colts got us...or rather, got Bellichik. That decision to go on 4th down with almost 2 minutes to go really was a gutsy call.

I know why he did it.....because the defense was tired from the previous two Colt drives...and the bitter loss to Denver when the Patriots never got the ball in OT to even try to win.

So I can see why he made the call, he wanted to leave the ball in the hands of his offense, rather than see a last minute drive by Manning...but after using the teams last two time outs, I am not to fond of the play calls and time management in the last two drives.

The loss basically hands the Colts home field advantage for the playoffs, or at least it is theirs to lose now.

Our division should be relatively easy to win this year, but I guess we'll see how the Patriots bounce backl against the division opponent next week.

We have the undefeated Saints in two weeks...man, that is going to be a crazy game.

The Colt-Patriot game was definately fun to watch, even though the outcome was not the way I wanted.

all three...this is the reason why it outsold any other entertainment release of all time...beating out the Harry Potter books and Halo which were 1 and 2 respectively before the Modern Warefare 2 release.

I am really liking online play...as well as the joint special ops. Speeddemon and I have been doing the special ops together, and those are fun too.

keith: what a GUTSY call that was by Bellichik!
You guys were damned if you did and damned if you didn't.

one one hand: you do the obvious and punt the ball giving it up to a guy who is known for last minute drives AND you know your defense is tired.

on the other hand: you go for it (on your own 20 - something yard line) and put the ***** in the hands of one of the top QB's in the League and ask him to get you two lousy yards.

I can see arguments both ways and I'm sure he'll get all kinds of grief for it today but knowing how good Payton is, I think it was the only call to make.
It's a lot like playing Poker: sometimes you make the right call and still lose. Does that make it a bad call? Nope, just a tough one to live with

Bellichik has never played for the tie, that is for sure. The plays are generally made, and the guys generally get the job done.

Peyton had made two 70 plus yard drives that quarter, both in under two minutes and with no use of a timeout...so that weighed heavy on the decision to try and put the game away.

I'm not upset about the decision, just upset at the outcome. It sure would have been nice to go back and change the play call though...I think that is where the mistake was made...not in actually going for it.

Yah it was a good game for sure... Exciting up til the end... ^_^

All that and USC and the Cowboys both lost too! ^_^

If the Steelers hadn't handed the game over to Cincinnati, it wouldve been a great day...

=\

one of the things that Xbox did talk about what the possibility of connecting those on the xbox 360 with those PC users who have "games for windows"...and that we would be able to connect with PC users and Xbox users. I don't think PS3 was included in this...

...but not to worry, as this function hasn't been made available yet...and to be honest, there are so many people playing modern warfare 2 right now on xbox, not sure we need access to more players through the pc.

Ntsb

I actually received an email today from the NTSB on the complaint I filed over a year ago with the failed clutch pedal in my RX8. I'm sure glad I kept the part and the receipt for the work order....

It seems that they are launching a review of this failure as it is common to other similar complaints.

Maybe I'll get my money back afterall? A clutch pedal, like a gas or brake pedal, should not fail...ever!

only 40 reported failures...would have thought there would have been more...and the reports stated 2 drivers were in traffic and couldn't shift gears....I know I was one that reported that in my filed complaint.

keith: I don't know where they got the 40 from but I know you had this, Tim (Newcastle), Scremn8, and myself all had broken clutch pedals.
I reported mine and got an email as well, hopefully they reimburse us as a clutch pedal should NEVER break.
