In another car I had, when the cat failed, you would hear a rattle sound from under the car, almost had the sound of several small (airsoft-sized) marbles rattling in a can after you let off the accelerator, or were sitting at idle.

That car is awsome, and then they showed pics of the interior...looks like a huge boat inside. thumbs down..definately doesn't look "super car" on the inside.
I saw a GTR on the free way this morning..whole bunch of stickers on it for a company I would assume (Password:JDM)? I snapped some pics with my cell phone, "allowed" it to pull infront of me so I could listen to the exhaust in stop and go traffic on the freeway to work.
There are 3 GTr's around my work...amazing that there is money for these in this economy.
The LFA is rumored to be in the Forza 3 December download pack.

maybe the springs are broken?
just spent 3 days doing MSF @ cerritos college... got my riding test passed. now have to wait 10 days for the written at the DMV and i should have an M1... still not sure if i'm going to go thru with buying a bike tho. it was my experimental mid-life crisis... but, after taking the class i have a newfound respect- and fear- for what can happen on the road. cars are just much safer.

They shouldnt be broken that soon.
How fun Gerry, i would like to have that license as well but i too doubt i will ever buy a bike, at lease while i am still married.
So here are what my plugs look like after repalcing them. I did them about 3 weeks ago, finally.
After eating all that food i decided to go for a lesierly bike ride on saturday (in the mountain) and the weather decided to make things a little intrested...with some snow! 5000+ ft and less then 20 miles. I think it was even trying to snow / light rain on me while i was at the top.
How was everyones elses weekend / vacation? Anyone venture out Friday morning ( i did in the cold).

What an awkward moment and a misinterpretation of body language. The ref signal "play over" and Vince Young thinking he wanted a high five.
What is after calling a pass incomplete -- and when the ref's arms were the furthest out to the sides -- a player came in and gave the ref a hug thinking that was the non-verbal signal for a man hug?
That would also be emabrassing and require a statement from the NFL.
I also liked the comment that only refs give high fives to Brady

Thinks happen in 3's right?
1st - Pulleys were squeaking pretty bad. Belt broke. Changed the pulleys and belts no problems.
2nd - After 5yrs 4months, finally got my first speeding ticket in the 8. Doing 84 in a 65. The AAA guy was on a motorcycle, hiding near some bushes in the shadows and using a laser.
3rd - This morning, about 1mile from my house, stopped at a light and the car would not shift. Clutch feels fine, but could not put the car into gear. Shut the car off, and was able to move it into different gears, so I put it in 1st, pushed the clutch in (even though it wasn't doing anything) cranked the engine and felt like I was riding a mechanical bull for a few seconds until the car started. Once it was running in 1st, I was able to shift gears so I put it in 2nd and drove back home, coasted into the garage, and there she sits.

holy crap Cesar, stop breaking your car! ![Cussing](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/cussing.gif)
I'm not quite sure what's wrong with your car to be honest. Sounds like a clutch disc issue but you say it feels fine.
Michael got the Droid.

ok, the dealer couldn't reproduce the "car farting" sound i was having... i tried leaving the car on when i got there too to try to see if it would happen when i shut it off, but it wasn't cooperating... <sigh> but, they said they tried and didn't hear anything...
so, they just changed the oil, replaced the battery, and did their usual inspection. they also said i don't drive the car enough and they recommended flushing the fuel injection system and that might help alleviate some of the rough idling i noticed. so i let them do that. who knows whether they actually did anything or not.
they left a web of the usual hairline scratches all throughout my front bumper, again. (do mazda dealers even bother to put a protective mat like other car dealers do around the hood area when the work?!!) anyways, i porter cabled most of the scratches out, though some were a bit deep and will probably take a couple of washes + porter sessions to completely get rid of. but, it's mostly ok now. my car's getting old, so the nice thing is i'm not as ape **** over little stuff anymore...
