hahahaha... well, i'll try to make time for all the toys the motorcycle is definitely a luxury item- ie not needed whatsoever. but, i'm just treating it like snowboarding. in other words, you buy all the gear and then go a few times during the year. and, you just enjoy it for what it is.

i'm itching for the rain to stop so i can go biking too... my new bike still needs some adjustments though. for some reason the right hydraulic brake howls a bit, and the brake rotors rub very slightly. shop said they may not have set it up perfectly. but, they said i'd need to bring it back in after break-in for adjustments. and, they said they'd take care of it...

here's the new bike.

AS for the moto bike, 500 for snow gear is a cheap hobbie to use 5 times a year but $5,000?

Your gun knowledge = fail

90-90 is only good for a couple specific conditions, like when;
1. you are in a tight tactical situation where space is limited
2. when you are trying to impress your girlfriend or buddies
3. when you are an actor and need to look cool on TV or the silver screen

When target shooting, a squared stance with a weaver grip is most accurate.
Go review that video again, you might learn something

i'm excited and happy. a little scared, but grateful none the less.

she feels the same way, but she is also worried and a bit more scared than i am.

neither of us have broken the news to our families yet. ...well, except for me. we told my cousin a few days ago.

well, depending on how long you two have been together, living situations, etc that could be a difficult conversation to have with your respective families.
Good luck man.

Good luck man.
we've been living together already for a few months already and it's all been going great. so, living situation is taken care of for now. my goal is to buy a house by the time my kid is 1yr. old.

she says her mom is going to flip out, and i believe it because every time we mention the word "baby(ies)," even jokingly, she goes all crazy like. haha.

my family though, they'll definitely be happy i'm sure.

congrats jonathan... a lotta things in life are kinda like that- ie u will never be ready. but, planning ahead as best as possible usually is the best way to go.

yah- $5k is an expensive toy. but, considering all the money i saved in not modding my car, i'm actually feeling ok about it. it's another fun thing in life to enjoy... and, if i end up getting bored or tired of it, i can probably sell the motorcycle fairly easily on craigslist i figure... i have a lot of respect for the danger it poses though. so, safety is my #1 concern above all things...

speaking of which... there's going to be some NICE SNOW in the local mountains this weekend!

I'm looking to ride the Santa Ana river trail. I usually do local trails by Canyon Lake. I have done the Moreno Vally/UCR mountain. That's a good ride. you can leave one car at the bottom and drive to almost the top. Nice trails, I would have a Novice to Intermediate trails. My bro was the one that got me into it. I want to do Tahoe, Downieville...that is awesome. My bro has done it. Here are a couple of video links check out the Santa Ana trail...local..and looks fun! There is also the Idyllwild trail too!

baron, the trails look nice. that is not the santa ana trail i am aware of, where it that? The one video has some pretty crazy exposure. I did some stuff very similar to that in palm springs a few weeks ago. not nearly as fast though and on the wrong bike but i made it. Idolwild does sound fun. I know there is some good riding in Chino and Loma linda (closer) as well but i have never been. Marhshall is the closest single track for me other wise i typically ride on fire roads (climbing) but DH is fun becasue there is so much more technique.
