The question becomes: who is bringing what?
I think everyone should bring folding chairs (pretty much a 'must' for all meets these days)
coolers with drinks for yourselves.

Cesar: you mentioned you had a small grill? We tail gating? If so, we should go pot luck style for our group.

I would love a little asada but then that means we'll need rice, beans, salsa, tortillas, etc which all sounds AWESOME but probably a bit much for this meet.

burgers & dogs might be the way to go.
I MIGHT have a little propane grill that we use for camping, maybe I can throw that in the trunk?

Loren: I say load up the other mazda with 'supplies' and we'll be good to go!

This is the grill http://www.sportsauthority.com/produ...entPage=family
and the canopy (minus the extra awning) http://www.sportsauthority.com/produ...entPage=family

And of course they are in red. I already told teh wife so now I just need to convince her to go. I think if she does she will take of early though.

Loren: those are awesome!
I assume the bbq runs on propane?? If so, can you bring a full tank and we'll each chip in some $$$ to cover the cost of filling it?
that looks to be a perfect size for what we need.

the canopy will keep us from melting.

it runs on one of those small tanks The one we have is slightly used so we will bring a spare. We will probably need another canopy.

SS XIIII?

I may buy a shirt for my wife but I am tired of the black shirts. If they want to make some money change 13-->14 and sell them in white and gray. People could then wear them to the event insteading of buying them there.

By the way I just ordered some Hawk Cermaic front break pads and I should have those on the car before Mazfest. I just need to figure out how to ge the rotors resurfaced. I also bought some new plugs but then I found out Amazon sells them $11 cheaper (total) then Autozone (anyway) and the coils I got at Autozone have a 2 year warrenty so I should be able to get those replaced for free. If that does not fix the light Jason (ullose) is selling a brand new fuel pump cheap, if that still doesnt do the trick time to check the cat and possible worse thing.

By the way I talked to Keith and I dont think he will come to Mazfest in the 3, he said it would just make him want to buy a car again.

Loren: if you pull the rotors off , you should be able to take them just about anywhere in your area to get them resurfaced. most shops do it fairly cheap.

Yeah that is what Keith said, I will try to do that first. I take most of my work to Discount Tire Center.

very cool.
I might have one of those tanks, if I'll bring it just in case.
I'll see if anyone else has a canopy as well.

Just to throw this in, anyone planning on going to Escape from Wonderland on the 29th of October? It's supposed to be at the NOS Events center. I'll probably be driving around with my gas mask (for Halloween of course).

Who is bringing what to Mazfest
Ideally it would be nice for everyone to bring something who is hanging out by our cars so we can potluck it. This way we don't freaking starve to death like we usually do at SS.

Everyone should bring their own drinks / chairs but here is what food items people have volunteered to bring.
  • Lesper4 - small gas grill and canopy
  • Jedi54 - hot dogs, buns, ketchup, and mustard
  • Atilla - Burgers & buns. Lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese
  • Scremn8 - Chips & Salsa
  • FastRX8 - small grill, cooler full of water & pepsi.

Cesar: you mentioned you had a small grill? are you bringing it?

I think my grill runs on propane. If it does, I'll bring it also.
And, I'll bring a cooler full of waters and pepsi to share. (24/each)

I hate relish so therefore none is found in my fridge.
same goes for Dr. Pepper so someone else will have to bring both of those if they want any.

oh, and add Mayo to that list as well.
