alright guys, 1 WEEK TO GO before Mazfest so lets start getting organized.

Mazfest , August 13th:

I'll be there
Jedi54
NgoRX8
Gregs
Newcastle
Atilla
Lesper4
Scremn8
FastRX8
Detrich
mike[piston easter]
Razz1

Who is bringing what to Mazfest
Ideally it would be nice for everyone to bring something who is hanging out by our cars so we can potluck it. This way we don't freaking starve to death like we usually do at SS.

Everyone should bring their own drinks / chairs but here is what food items people have volunteered to bring.
  • Lesper4 - small gas grill and canopy
  • Jedi54 - hot dogs, buns, ketchup, and mustard
  • Atilla - Burgers & buns. Lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese
  • Scremn8 - Chips & Salsa
  • FastRX8 - small grill, cooler full of water & pepsi.

School still Kevin...you might beat me. I went for 9 years (3 colleges) but at least I have two degrees out of it.

Michael the Clubman is pretty nice looking. I would consider getting it for my wife but it is basically the same size as her current car. The Edge was very comfortable and the sport model is pretty sharpe, next years model is suppoed to get 30mpg.

Speaking of mpg the new base audi engine in the A5 is supposed to get 41 mpg!

Cancel the grill. Mine is a charcoal grill.
Unless someone wants to carry hot coals in their 8, but it's not going in my car.

So I replaced my plugs and coils last night. I think I bent two of the plugs while taking them out! The car started up great this morning and has some pep but of cours the hot weather is gone so I will have to see if that actually fixed the problem. I guess I will have to run to Cesar's to clear the code as well. Cesar?

The Car loose idle at stops now (enginer shuts off) but that happened last time I did this as well and should go away in a few days. I should be getting my brakes today and hopefully I can take care of that tonight as well. Cesar I think you have a part for that also?

hey therex, good to see we've got another person heading out there with us!
I say bring some snacks or maybe some desserts, (cookies, muffins, etc) because we'll probably need the sugar in the afternoon to make it through the day.

some of us are meeting up in the morning and we were going to head straight there because I believe car show entrants need to register by 8 am.
what time are you planning on leaving your house?

also, I got your text last night. Sorry I didn't respond, was out to dinner with some friends.
looks like corrosion on you battery, that can happen after a while and it's kinnda normal. The red stuff looks to be anti-corrosion spray of some sort, probably sprayed on there when they installed the battery?

To get there at the same time as you? Although I am no serious threat to winning.

No, I installed that battery so I have no idea where it came from. Since I was disconecting the battery to do the coils I took everything off wiped it down, used what very little battery cleaner I had and then scrapped the terminals and reconnected everything. I did not check the fluid levels.
