Friday night is karting so we probably won't be a great time but I was thinking maybe we could do something after SS.
sevenstock won't run as late as in prior years (thanks to not letting Mazda hog the microphone all day
) so we should be done around 3 or so.
I was hoping your or Cesar could point us towards a good Mexican restaurant or something and then maybe we can do pics afterwards.
suggestions?

Loren: I'm trying to get Zach to go take some pics afterwards like we did last year.
not sure what background he'd look for but I know he likes the 'industrial' look so I'll leave it up to you and Cesar to find us a good spot.
as for food: we'd need a place that can probably accommodate 12-15 people and isn't going to break the bank. Think of the places I've taken you guys the last 2 years; something like that.

I will post some pictures of the sites later so Zack will get an idea. Not all will be in the dark since i have a crappy camera but there is deffinitly goot lighting. The hard part may be lighting the cars but in the past we used other cars.
La Poloma is semi nice, it is good but last time we went there there was a fire in the kitchen at some point and filled the dinning area. Don Jose is about the same but has better parking

Attached is on old image of my battery, I have since cleaned it and it has not come back but have you guys ever seen something like this, is it algee?
Also is a picture of my air filter, it was SOOOO clogged. Cesar reset the engine light and I was really confident this was the issue but then the engine light came back
. So I have done the plugs and coils intake what I have left is the O2 sensor (2) and the cat, not sure what else it could be.
Going straight to if it was the cat, I should be able to put a newer one on and clear the code and it goes away? Replacing the O2 sensors is cleaper but know one has those laying around. How much gas should I smell after i rev the engine and turn it off, it seems to be alot?

wow, that is one super dirty air filter but looks like a ton of dirt.
the battery seems to have that anti-corrosive stuff on it, also normal.
Loren: Replacing the cat is extremely expensive and problem is most of the after market cats don't hold up very well to the little fire breather that is our rotary engine. I know, I've cooked 2 aftermarket cats already...
If you're feeling ambitious, put the car up on jack stands, loosen the 3 bolts that connect the cat to the exhaust manifold and take a peak inside. IF it's clogged you won't see the honeycomb in 1 piece, it'll either be broken or you won't see it at all because it's broken up and made it's way down the pipe.
Aside from that, the only other things I can think of are a vacuum leak or a bad O2 sensor.

Here are some of the picture of the places I mentioned. There is also a drag strip at the Fairplext but I am not sure if they will let us get close enough.

OK well the cars is cleaned inside and out and has 3 coats of wax. I still have to wipe down the insdie of the windows and do the back to black on the exterior and then I will be done. Figures that the marine layer is thicker the day after I wash my car. No mods for me this year unless I roll up with my roof rack and bike.

Yeah, tons of fog this morning. Can you just use quick detailer spray?
