He must be on the BMW forums now???

The one I used to hang out on got shut down from lack of activity. It was a really good one too for technical stuff with lotta helpful ppl. Oh well.

I went to Dodge this weekend to ck out the 2012 grand caravan as a potential to replace our family's aging '95 Ford Windstar...

The grand caravan is a really nice value. But there were 2 things I didn't like. (1) it's ugly as heck on the outside. (2) it has very noticeable accelerator lag on the transmission- almost a 3 second delay from when u floor it to when it actually downshifts. I guess most ppl won't be running yellow lights in that thing.

On the drive home I floored the Windstar gas pedal and that thing hauls *** instantly. Go figure.

So tell me why everytime I disconnet the battery my car will not idol, it just dies and it does this for about a week then it goes back to normal. Trust me the terminals are tight.

was driving home for lunch earlier this week and saw a black 2012 from about a block down the road, the car... car still didn't have plates on yet, so it was new.

the one thing that i noticed right away is that the rear look of the series2 8's do not stand out as much as the originals. from far away i had to actually really look to see if it was an 8 or not... the tail-lights look rather bland, and without the rotary accent below the bumper, it's hard to tell it's an 8 from far away... so although all those body changes look nice, they've actually made the car look less unique...

when you unplug the battery it wipes the memory for fuel and air flow. the car has to relearn that again, and sometimes it takes about a week.

Just Cesar...actually since the battery was replaced it has not come back, but I have faith it well :P

I also have MIAC (from time to time) so I guess I need to get the water hose restrictor thingy installed by the dealership?

Did you go hide when you did it (all the smoke)? Did you use Seafom or the Mada Zoom one or something else?

The first time I used seafood, would not do it the same way again tho. The next time I used the zoom cleaner, since it has a straw its a little easier to work with.
