hopefully that'll make him move on. he obviously needs to get a life instead of harassing ppl about a car he really can't afford to buy without mommy & daddy's help.

good grief. kids are so spoiled these days that even their attitudes are all warped.

on a side note. happy friday everyone

now that you put them side by side, the silver does look a bit out of place. Hmmm....

yah. i'm wondering if there is a safe, affordable remedy for this. my co-worker suggested going to Galpin's custom shop since they do all kinds of stuff. i wonder how expensive it would be. am curious as to whether u've ever looked into it. seems like it would be a nice improvement to the interior. side view at least.

Find what is different about the two pictures?

-door stickers on rear door at lock are different
-center arm rest cushion is open with a can of soda in it
-there is a sweater in the drivers seat
-brake calipers are silver and not black
-sunroof is slightly open
-background is different
-cropping angle is different
-OH! plastic on seat at side air bag is different colors, both seats (black looks better)
-one car has zaino on it and it dropped with tire shine
-one car still has the dealer window sticker
-one car has some paperwork on the floor of the rear passenger spot
-(cant tell about the tint?)
-concrete score mark is different on the ground
-seat positions are different

so is the black on the seats photoshoped?

well, the main difference is the plastic silver backing on the front seats. the 2008 model has fully-wrapped seats, the 2005 has the ugly silver plastic.

i think several of us have the ugly silver plastic on the back seats. so was just wondering if anyone has explored options of making the 2005 seats look black like the 2008 without doing major expensive surgery.

is it worth creating a separate thread to see if other members on the board have explored this?

Loren - you missed the fact that the 2008 model does not have the silver ring around the shift boot.

Jerry - the wrapped seats DEFINATELY look better. You might have to check into whether or not there are differences with the airbag. I always assumed that the plastic backing had something to do with the airbag. If not - it should be a fairly simple solution. Or just buy 2008 seats and completely switch them out.

Lesper - in the right photo the emergency brake isn't pulled up as far. Also on the suicide door there is one additional sticker on the right picture.

@jedi -
It was a ton of fun, and a very long day.
After lots of exhaust fumes, we ended the day w/ MazdaManiac trying to fix a turbo for someone, and the fumes were burning our eyes, and our snacks.
Jedi, can you post a link to the video here?

dude, seriously- i wouldn't eat anything roasted from that exhaust. just cuz there is a flame doesn't mean it's safe. u guys are nuts.

it almost looks like he's going to be needing to repaint (or replace) that bumper in the near future if he keeps running like that. an awful high price tag to pay just to have flames coming out of the exhaust. but, hey- fun for us to watch though, since it's not our dime.

That flame was because the car was running way to rich.
In fact, his car was not even drivable, until jeff got to work on it.

yeah, who I REALLY felt bad for was the shop owner driving the car and for Mazdamaniac (Jeff) for sitting in the passenger seat trying to tune it.

They must have done close to a dozen pulls on that poor. Jeff had tears streaming down his face from the fumes.
