cesar: Palm Treo 700w vs 700wx.
Only difference I see is the memory. 32mb vs 60mb.
Will that make a big difference?

I missed it saying 100. It took me too long to grab the camera, by then I was halfway beack to Murrieta and the temp was dropping
Summer is coming.

Here's a comparison chart.

BTW - If you're buying it for very cheap, that's fine, but Windows Mobile 5 can be frustrating.
There are tons of options, and I never had an issue w/ it, but I like tweaking the phone and changing stuff.
If you don't want any extra work, you may look into getting another Blackberry or a Windows Mobile 6 device.

well, I did something stupid... I bid on a new Treo on ebay but until the box showed up yesterday, I didn't notice it was only the 700w, not the wx.
I'll probably put it back up on ebay this weekend.

yep. i think mazda just did that to get some positive press and milk the publicity. they wouldn't need to if they just policed their dealers more. but, i guess it's cheaper to destroy a cargo ship of new cars than to teach mazda dealers what "service" means.

It's a huge waste, but I think we're all like that too.
If you bought a new car, and the next day on the way to work somebody slams into you, causing lots of damage to the car, you'd want a new car.
You'd hope the insurance company considers it a total loss, and replaces it. After all, that's why we get full coverage, right?
If the insurance company told you that you're fully covered and the car was a total loss, you'd be happy.
But, what it they told you, first, you have to part out all the things that are still good, and whatever money you don't recover, we'll pay.
No way you'd take that deal.
Mazda's doing the same thing. They have full coverage, they don't want to hassle w/ it.
And, they do make a good point. If, by some random chance, one of those cars has a malfunction that cost someone their life, they may be losing a lot more than the $100M cost for all those cars.
Regardless of the issue, if it comes from one of those cars that sat in the ocean, tilted at 60 degree's for a month, anyone could sue because they didn't do a study of the long term affects it had on the car.
It does suck, but be sure to thank a lawyer next time you see them.
