June RockBand / Birthday Party(s) / Get-Together

We have two birthday parties in June...(one of those being mine ).....so I kinda want to plan something for the third weekend in June.

I'm thinking the 21st or 22nd.....Thinking the 21st would be better as most people can't afford to have a late Sunday evening.....

Rockband/BBQ/Drinks/Birthday Cake

Figured if Jedi would like to come, we could make it a dual birthday celebration.

THOUGHTS?
INTEREST?

New Music Releases for today were three songs from Jimmy Buffet, and three songs from the new Disturbed album.....talk about a strange combo
I beleive we are up to 156 songs now for rockband....last time you guys were over we had only 56.

Yes. Haven't found anything better near that price, but I did find it much cheaper elsewhere.
Go to Frucall.com and search the UPC #. It's UPC# 022265001356
You can pick it up at Circuit City for less, or TigerDirect.

I used to have that blue frosting pic on my computer....but that wasn't the best part of the story.....it was the stories we heard of green poop for weeks afterwards.

I promise a couple of things for this party.
1) No blue frosting cakes....and no green surprises that come afterwards.
2) I will not enforce a dress code....come in whatever you want.
3) I will not cook, or attempt to cook anything resembling hamburgers . (we do have a new BBQ that someone with better hamburger skills can play around on though).
4) We will have plenty of couches, floors and beds to accomodate everyone crashing if you can't drive.
5) Plenty of Rockstars in several varieties
6) Plenty of Tylenol.

Hmmm, I wonder what yellow frosting would do.....

I usually only chime in on difficult or confusing topics.
I figured the German Chocolate cake thing was pretty common knowledge.
Anyhow, for those of you that forgot, here's a refresher course on German Chocolate Cake.

German Chocolate Cake is not from Germany.
It was invented by an American named Sam German.
He created a mild-dark baking chocolate for a company called Baker's Chocolate Co.
The product was named after him. "Baker's German's Sweet Chocolate."
The first published recipe appeared in the 1950's from a Texas housewife.
The main ingredient, German's Sweet Chocolate.
That's how we got German Chocolate Cake.

BTW - Did you check out Frucall.com? I love that place, and you can use it from a PC/Cellphone or via Text message.

yup, that's an awesome site!
I was going to go with tigerdirect (via amazon) but it was only going to save me about $6. I went with Circuit City, their Irvine location is pretty close to my office.

Thanks Cesar

so I just ordered the Koni Race shocks and ground control coil over kit for the super miata!

just for a comparison, the stock springs are 120 pounds front and 100 pounds rear. the new springs are 700 pound front and 375 pounds rear. of course the new shocks are valved to handle such a stiff spring. they are also shortened to allow a lower stance without bottoming out.... and of course they are fully adjustable.

WOOT WOOT!

I will get with michelle to see if a BBQ that day would be goodor not.

How can you be a 'stuntah' in a ford ranger?

Casey - The DMV hands out a weekend moving license for cars. Tell them you are moving the car accross town and they will give you a daily permit.
So when are you bringing the Miata to a meet?

A real man installs 700 pound springs by hand. (or with his teeth)

Are you gonna use a spring compressor?
