I tried that but it didn't work...I'd like to use this one if someone could resize it and hopefully I'm able to download it right

Corksport is selling a kit. They just started selling the one that works for US cars.
I'm waiting for a couple people to buy it/install it first.

Here's the thread with all the discussion.

Just skip to the end, you'll see a couple of people have bought the new one.
The original had problems, and didn't work.

Yep, that's the car that I will buy the first opportunity I get.
I've been looking at prices for donor cars.
Honestly, I probably wouldn't be getting this for a couple of years.
I'd put a Twin-Turbo LS1 in that thing in a heart-beat.

it would cost WAY too much. your average FULL 20b conversion (made reliable and renforced drivetrain) costs about 35-40K. if you could do the work yourself and build your own motor with 13b parts and just buy the e shaft, your still looking at 25k or so if you do a complete job. for a 4 rotor youd have to spend more for the extra rotor, custom 2 piece shaft, motor mounts, complete custom turbo kit (im assuming you'd go FI), etc...

an na 4 rotor for the street wont be makeing anything near 787b numbers. put a big snail on that thing and it will blow a turbo ls1 out of the water but past 1000hp, whats the point?

a twin turbo ls1 is capable of hitting 1000+hp with 800+lb/ft torque for about the same price but you have the option to not go crazy and "only" spend 10K on the motor and get 650hp. plus the car was built with the LS1 in mind.

on a side note, am i the only one that finds that car kinda ugly?

hey KWESCOTT

I talked to my mazda dealer when I brought my car in, I have the RB intake and he said that since the filter on it is K&N that it does not void the warranty. So I am wanting to know why they said yours stuff voided it?

On another note I am going to Iraq and with the money I will have coming back. I am going to swap out my motor for either the LS1 with a turbo or sc set up or most likely the 13b rx7 motor with the single turbo, both pushing some where in the 700hp range.

jordan: why not just get the Stage 2 Mazsport? It would be cheaper, produce a ton of HP, and require less work.

I do not know about it. Every time I click a link they say they are updating their site, plus I heard that since our motors are NA that they have more of a tendency to blow!

(1) I am no longer under a Mazda warranty, but an extended warranty. Coverages are the same though. My failure was the transmission, and the warranty on the transmission is voided with any of the following drive train parts: intake, exhaust, deletion of the Catalytic converter or o2 sensors, clutch, flywheel, wheels with different size or offset from factory, tires that are different from factory.

(2) What they say to you now, and what they say and/or how they treat you when you want to replace a 3000 dollar part are different.

....in summary, Let's just say I learned a lot in this experience.

clutch failure, warranty, extended warranty

So I just saw Vipers old car in 'dsport' magazine.
Hope this is not old news. But they covered sevenstock . . . the orange FC is the biggest picture in the article
Someone should try to find the magazine for him if he hasn't already seen it.
deedubb has a little pic too. ( at least I think it is his red w/blackhood )
