VERY IMPORTANT------2008 Calendar INFO------
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...50#post2125350
OK, here we go guys. Thread is up and we're ready to go on the development of the 2008 Meet Calendar.
TO DO LIST
1-Month selection (please post in that thread which month you would like)
2-Negatives/Positives (please post things you would like to keep, things you would like to change....or things you would like to consider)....
Loren and I will work on format/style for the calendar and will let you know when we have some samples for you guys to review and provide comments on. At this point, consider the fact that we have had two previous calendars which have used one main pic, along with 3 small pics. I would assume that we would use a similar style....so start looking for pics. I don't really care if they are new or old....lets just make them good....submit pics in the calendar thread if you have some that your already interested in having considered.

Casey...how did the Pomona event go?
You missed a great autocross event. We did get 4 runs, but we paid the price with timing errors all day long...tons of rookies out on course not picking up cones and the slew of re-runs that it created....what a headache. We were first work group, started at 815...first car wasn't out till 845 (radio malfunctions....no flags out on course, people with the heads up their a$$e$..you, know the typical for a PFM event)...and we didn't get to walk off the track until 1015.....yeah, what a fricken hassle.
Course was FAST and LONG. You know it is long when Ulllose ran the best PAX, and it was 63.8. BSP was a close battle again....which I'm sure you would have been in the middle of. Aaron got new racing seat and a lite weight battery. He said he saved over a hundred pounds.
Denward's car ran well. I like the suspension, stiffer than mine, but still a bit soft for Denward's preference. He may stiffen things up. We really worked the car over though....noticed that the rear coilovers did some major shifting on us. He had to re-do things when we were swapping his stock tires back on.
Aaron thought that I had wrapped things up prior to this event....so, I guess this just puts it in the bag for this season.
Talked to Rick.....Erica and I are trying to figure out a way to keep the white car at least, maybe return it to stock and run B-stock. Rick expressed some interest in codriving. He would love to have a stock 8 to run in, as his is a touring and is slightly heavier....as well as the hassle he has of swapping tires back and forth at each event. He said he would pick up all tire costs.
It is all up in the air though...as we know how difficult the used RX8 market is right now.

Patriots should have had a larger victory, which would have clearly made all football fans know how superior the Patriots are this year.
Penalties, one sided officiating, as well as the one man show (Addai), amde the game seem closer than it really was. Colts had no offense, which is unusual, but shows how strong the number one defense is.
The only play that worked (outside of handing the ball to Addai) for the Colts was the long chuck down the feild with the hopes of a pass interference play. To the Colts, and the officials credit, those plays worked. But that is all they had.
Patriots....undefeated....7 more to go to beat the record held by the Miami Dolphins for so long.

Captain Spelchek has found some cause for concern with your recent post.
