I was there today. It was the ladies training day. Had some cool cars there. A Lancer took the best time of the day. They weren't classed, so it was everyone runnin every different level of tuning, stock to whatever. Some family was there, last name barry?berry? . . . . . famous miata was there too, license plate 'c stock'. The slowest average of the day came from an FD RX-7.

The guys got 2 laps at the end of the day to try to better their girls time.

That Evo is one of the best Nationally prepped cars for BSP. It kicks A$$. Tom is the father, he has won many national events in that car. his daughter, Christine has started to follow that lead and has won some national events as well. The car is an autocross only car, is trailored to events.

The C-stock Miata won at Nationals this year...and won last year with a different owner.

We have only two events left this season before the RX8's are gone.

so, i was at cc a couple days ago and saw blue ray for the first time... (they were showing the 5th element i think.) and, i dunno... it looked SO outrageously vivid, that it looked more like a soap opera "feel" to it more than a "film" quality feel.

i've yet to see HD yet, but am curious now how it compares. my gutt tells me that movies like Ratatouille probably look awesome in BR or HD, but that traditional movies without a lot of effects will look "soap opera" like... for those of you who've compared, which do u like better?

that said... ratchet and clank looked freaking awesome on the PS3...

When i first saw HD at my friends house I was amazed with the quality of the picture, looks more than "real". We were watching a NBA game and he switched from HD to standard and the difference was HUGE. Im looking into getting a 50" Samsung Plasma for my room and of course an HDTV tuner to go along with it. Almost picked one up on black friday but was low on cash...fail.

On the side note is the I-Pod touch still hard to get? Do you guys see a price drop soon as with all other apple products?

Also anyone have a clue what wheels these are?

Well it looks like my RX-8 will be gone by mid December hopefully i can hit the SB meet one last time. Really don't want to let the car go but I hardly drive it anymore. I don't think I'll be getting another sports car for awhile as I have other priorities in my life at the moment. Its kind of funny that we all start together and end together, everyone's selling their eights...

The youngest daughter is Lisa....The Evo was blown up so it could have been Christine but I really dont think so because from what I noticed today it looked like Lisa was the only one driving the Civic. I know Christine and Tom where talking about hitching rides. So I would think it was LISA. She was doing go carts but now has been doing more car racing the last couple years. Like I said BUT it could have been Christine. The girls all look young.

P.S
THANKS Jesse for letting me run your car. It was a blast!

a close game is better then a blow out brady...the playoffs wont be a cake walk so it is better to be prepared for this type of victory.

Great to hear from you Tom! I was wondering how your game went. I even thought about going over to a friends house to watch it, but got caught up at the race track.

Hey i got a question on topic:
Romero, my dealer said that my brakes are getting low i think almost in the red and that the rotors will most likely need to be replaced (they do pulsate). i got the prices for 4 pads and 4 rotors from mazda and it was a crazy amount. i found a forum vender that as all that for almost $200 less (rx7store.net) all the other venders had a higher price, closer to mazds. i also read that hawk pads are not good for rotora rotors? any one have any experiance?

Keith would you be able to help me out with this in the mazdaspeed program at all when the time comes?

You can keep track of our our stats here as well...many records look to fall this season.

We play at Baltimore next week, and then look on towards a home game against the Steelers. Not to look past the Ravens, but the Steelers look to be the next threat.

If I was to watch a game for next week, I would look at the NFC showdown of 10-1 teams this week....when the Coyboys play the Packers. This will determine home field advantage for the playoffs....and there is a HUGE home feild advantage for the Packers...if they are able to win and force others to come to Lambeau Feild in January......can anyone say SNOW.....

Most likely not, unfortunately. They look at how many consumeables you order. Brakes, and rotors are consumeables and I have two cars that are in the red as well.

Jessie, you off work today, right?
Speed, can you play tonight?
Cesar....oh, never mind

Lets play some tonight....maybe we can walk Loren through some things. Loren, don't worry, the 1st player game has nothing to do with online play.....Sunday and Monday are the only days I am able to play with Jessie...so if we are all able to get on for at least sometime tonight, it would be fun.

you won't get speed at that time, but I know I would be available....Maybe we can get Jessie on at that time for you as well. It is much better to play with people you know...as there are many egos online with this game....I think most of them are people who are upset about the fall of Halo3 from stardum.

I'm not playing Assassin's Creed, Erica is...but I'm watching. I have to admit, it started off slow and I actually fell asleep watching it the first couple evenings. But, it is picking up now and I find myself playing along.....
