keith> after the first play of the game i thought it was going to be another pat stomping... but, what a comeback for the eagles. they just made too many stupid mistakes- failing to convert after the recovered off-side kick, interceptions, not kicking the field goals etc. still, what a great game. (what's with brady's obsession with the number 96? lol)
as far as halo goes, i never thought it was all that great. for 3-d shooters u need some blood and gore- aka doom, quake etc. to make things interesting... <lol> how is the new need for speed? i saw some cool rx-8 shots from their advertisement in some magazine...
I was getting furious every time Madden would start to talk about the weakness down the center of the field for the Patriots. That is a weakness for all teams.....just take a look at what the Patriots do...they do this to everyone, everyone knows it, and still can't stop it. I won't go into more, but I wanted to just shove a 6 legged turkey in Madden's mouth. He used to fun to listen to, then he became somewhat fun to listen to, now, he is just a joke.
Eagles did hang in there, especially with their backup to their backup quarterback. I think Donavan Mcnab would have done worse actually, because he tends to pass alot to the outsides...not the middle....but then again, the Eagles are a one man team...with their running back/receiver who basically accounts for over 70% of their offense. (Enough Patriot Rant....go Patriots).
...on the Need for Speed, I don't know anyone who owns it. I got disenchanted with the Need for Speed Series after the Most Wanted series game out. I liked the underground series...but don't really go for that hot pursuit, break through everything mode of most wanted. I gave up on the series, so never got to experience carbon canyon, etc.....
..I am plenty pleased with my combo of driving games....Forza 2 and Dirt.

Velvet Revolver / Alice in Chains
I bought Erica a pair of tickets to see Velvet Revolver for her birthday, but the event was cancelled/rescheduled given the fires we were having in California at the time. The event was originally rescheduled for the 8th, and is now moved to the 12th. Erica is at school that evening, giving her masters thesis and can not reschedule. We can't make the event. Is there anyone who would be interested in going to see Velvet Revolver and Alice in Chains? 100 bucks for the pair, I have the tickets in hand.
Velvet Revolver and Alice in Chains, originally scheduled at Verizon Amphitheater has been postponed. The event will now take place on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 8:15 p.m. Pacific Time at the Gibson Amphitheater.
Tickets are in section 10.
As Erica knows God Hates Her

Well it looks like I am going to spend $$$ on stephs car. If we want to run the CSP class and be even remotely competitive, I am going to need a bunch more parts. Returning the suspension back to stock would allow us to run c-stock, but that is no fun.
So from my understanding, now that I have coilovers, this bumps me in to the CSP category. And if I am CSP, I may as well get the intake, exhaust, and CPU management.
So no more mods for the RX8 . . . looks like the toyota is gonna be getting some love.
Now all I need is a track in my backyard . . . practice practice practice.

I can't express this enough......TIRES.....I wish I could instantly make you believe me....TIRES. I know, I know, I know....I thought the same thing. I will buy parts for the car that I will get to enjoy every day, and then I'll get tires and wheels (which would be for track day only)....last.
Well, I kicked myself, got frustrated with how big a gap there was between what I wanted to do, and what was happening with the car. Frustrated with a lack of progress in my times as I continued to buy more and more parts for the car. Again, hundreds of dollars for hundreths of seconds....not a good return.
When Casey and I switch from street tires to r-compounds (the 245's)...we easily gained 1.5-2.0 seconds.....and then we picked up another 1.5-2.0 seconds when we bought the track devoted, light weight Enkeis with the proper sizing....and the huge 285 r compounds.
If your going to do this...follow from those with experience and the knowledge to share.....
(1) Tires. Find someone who is selling a set of stock MR2 wheels for cheap, check the mR2 forum...and get a set of R-compounds mounted to them.
(2) Try to contact the owners of the "Blueprint" CSP MR2...see if they ave any suggestions or any hand-me-downs.
...oh, and welcome to CSP....I am finding out daily that the class is going to be a lot bigger this year...which is a good thing. I'm selling my Enkies and huge rubber to a guy with a mX5.....sucks, because I'm basicially giving him the advantage to kick all our A$$e$......but it will be fun anyways.

Go into settings...you can adjust "Sensitivity". I would think making it less sensitive may be what you need. Also just an FYI....do the training mode in the 1st player campaign...it will show you how to "snap" to a target by getting close in the "shoot from your hip" view....to when you zoom in with the left trigger. Zooming in and out quickly will change the target that you "snap" to.

going out of business after 2.5 years. It's a bummer, Phil was one of THE BEST people to deal with on this forum. Him and Paul @ Mazmart are in a league of their own.
