mine are mostly sitting not even being cleaned at my moms house in a locker. so nto sure hwo safe it would be to use them. no, no shot gun for me, just a nice black rifle with mods (recoil dampner being one of them) kind of like what the military uses but many of the mods that were available are now no longer available for certain reasons and some big rifles that shoot fire when you pull the trigger.

Is it registered in Cali and do you want to sell it?

Do you use the 9mm? Or is it just used for decoration?

Personally I would never own any gun that was not blued or parkerized. A chrome gun reflect light and paints you as a 6'x1.5' target.
But damn do they look beautiful!!!!

^^^ yeah, but if the guy makes the mistake of breaking into Scrmn's house at night, the chrome isn't gonna matter much. He'll still be sorry..

Funny you should say that rglbegl, cuz my fast grab home defense weapon is a shakizawa. 32" of hand hammered japanese steel. But it reflects better than most mirrors.

I'm sure the front end will grow on me eventually but as it stands now, I prefer current front bumper.

The wheels are pretty bitchin' and I like that they are 19's

The interior is a HIT / MISS for me:
- Don't like the steering wheel. (no longer unique as it's the same as CX7 / CX9)
- don't like the center stereo controls, reminds me of a friend's Nissan Altima (the black / gray theme and positioning)
- Don't like that they got rid of all the small rotors everywhere
- Where's the Nav gonna go?

- I DO like the new leather
- I LOVE the moving redline
- Like that they got rid of the 'dummy' oil gauge. People get in my car and ask, "why do you need those gauges if you already have an oil pressure needle"
- Rumors of a new transmission...
- New front strut looks nice. (should be functional)

yeah i agree with you on most of the parts. i think the exterior of the car has merged into a general sports car instead of embracing the rotary

I think Mazda almost HAD TO do that at this point. The 8 has never been a HUGE 'main stream' selling car for them so here's an attempt to rekindle some more interest in it.

This just needs to hold them over 2 years or so till the 16x gets ready to be released in an RX-8 / RX-7 format.

I love the new front bumper.
wheels are nice, but I would remove them anyways.
the new side vents are ok, I like the current one better though.
The interior is awsome.
the tail lights are pretty cool.
headlights are cool to.

overall I love it. I think they did a great job! thank god they didnt F*$K it up.

really my only complaint is the side markers and grill. those I dont like.

I like it. The audi r8 front end seems to be popular lately.
Love the wheels - they look good for factory wheels
love the rear end - Same reason I keep Steph around
The seats look good - ready fit for harnesses
even the side vents look decent

I think the update is almost perfect. Of course, this is, in no way, what the US version will look like.

This to me, looks like the promo shot for all the accessories you can buy....I wonder what the stock bumper looks like without the appearance lip, without the grill trim, without the sideskirts and without the rear wing.......answer (much like what our 8 looks like with the addition of new lights (which may be accessories as Scion offers "aftermarket" taillights as an upgrade) and new headlights).
