Car has been sitting in the garage since I picked it up last week. I drove it once or twice since then, but figured I would be doing more damage than good. Transmission was ordered last week Wednesday, was supposed to be received by yesterday (Monday). I called just before lunch to check on the status, but got no return call. I will call again today to see if the transmission has been delivered, and to schedule an appointment to bring the car down to have it installed.

Heck, Just this last weekend Casey and I dropped a trans, switch out the pressure plate and pilot bearing in less than 3 1/2 hours. As Casey said, it will probably take Mazda all week to do the job.....

FOR THOSE INTERESTED...PICS FROM THE RECENT AUTO-X ARE UP FROM 4/22:
....and yes, we did put my stickers on Cesar's car.....just for fun What do you guys think of the red on yellow>

TOCA didn't even work....so none of his times counted in the results...he did have some good times (he has the same Enkei wheels that Casey and I have...different offsets of course....and some 265 street rubber). This event was nice, since BS and BSP ran so close together. The lot was full of 8's, and we all parked together. The guy in the blue 8 has been doing this for awhile...he has even provided Instructor runs for some of the new guys. He did an instructor run for Denward at the last two events. Seems like a quiet guy, doesn't want to get caught up in all the hoop-lah.

when i was in taipei, i noticed that the yaris tv commercials are very different, and it's marketed more like a peppy, modest sports car- ie like the scion tc.

i also noticed that their gas is 101 octane and about $200+ NT a liter. (that's about $6.)

At Loren, I'm not certain whether ALL CAPS or Always Capitalizing The First Letter Of Each Word bothers me more....:P

Caps Lock, Shift, Fn, am I the only one still doing this?
