Should we take a stab and say;

"You would have never lost control if you had pre-loaded your springs"

and I completely agree with vipers . . . drink driving should be punished, not coddled

Wow, what a DUMBASS! I don't have any sympathy for people who drink and then get behind the wheel. Shame, was a good looking car.

I agree 100% with what you posted. Usually the idiot who was drinking just ends up with a wrecked car while the other party grieves the loss of loved ones.

HAHA, that would be freaking hilarious!!

Yeah, car isn't his. a lot of what Dom says is greatly exaggerated. (I know someone who knows his GF)

I was talking to Denward about this yesterday. Apparently, the COBB version is not for boosted cars. Hymee's will be awesome when it comes out.
Still keeping the dream alive of boosting one day, though, it definitely won't be the AFSC now.

Are you absolutely sure you need to convert? What brand/model MP3 player did you get?
Also, if this is your first MP3 player, why do you have songs in MP4?
Are you using iTunes?

Regarding the Drunk Driving in Vegas.

I gotta chime in here. Maybe, it's not entirely DonJuan's fault.
I deal w/ this stuff all the time in tech-support.
Sometimes people don't understand directions when you're discussing something that's new to them.
The drunk driving accident may have been Jedi's fault.
After all, he's the one that told him about "Pre-Loading".

Did you explain carefully that the springs should be pre-loaded, or is there any chance he took that to mean the driver should be pre-loaded?
Just remember, when dealing w/ newb's, you need to be very specific in your instructions.

Michael....we have the PIE unit we pulled out of the Snowfl8k. This basically attaches to the input on the back of your stock stereo, and then has a long aux cable that attaches to the head phone jack on your MP3 player. You can then listen to the MP# by pressing the CD/EX button on your radio.

Perfect sound, and much better than an RF transmitter.

Circle was interested in the part, but hasn't got back to me on it.

$75 bucks if your interested.

I'll give it to you free and even help you on the install if you make up your mind on my Volks.

^^Good Point.
RF Transmitters don't even come close to the direct hookup.
Especially since you're in an area w/ tons of radio stations. You will go crazy if you go the RF transmitter route.
I have one of the highest rated RF transmitters for the Bu, and it sucks 90% of the time.
Don't think that's what you're planning though, since you asked Jedi for input.

As far as running RCA inputs, your friend probably assumes you have a semi-workable radio.
The RX8 radio is not that easy, the PIE adapter is a good option, and there are some others that also do the job.
Our radios don't have RCA outputs, so you will need an adapter.

scrmn: I was thinking the PIE adaptor is the way to go. Mazda makes a similar device, I think the text on the radio displays the song info
