San Diego Alignment shop info???

Does anyone know of a good alignment shop in the SD area? I just put Tein Flex’s on my 8 and now I need to do my alignment and want to do it at a reputable shop. So if anyone could help that would be great.
Thanks

Someone... anyone? I have seen some 8's here in SD so I know there is someone out there who has had their alignment done. Any suggestions would help.

Performance Tire on Miramar Rd. has been good for me, but there many places that will do alignments. If you mention that Jason with the RX8 referred you, they might give you like a dollar off or something.

Tru-line off Balboa and 163 specializes in alignments on aftermarket suspensions. They even have an alignment machine for lowered cars.

Thanks guys, have either one of you been to Telegraph or Palomar Rd? I am from LA originally and have been to telegraph on my bike, but I was thinking of taking out my 8 this wkend but I am not sure where to go to test the new susp. Are there any tracks out here? Or what do you recomend?

I've driven up Palomar Mountain, it's an awesome drive but is kinda far from the city. Nice views from the top as well.

If you really want to see what your car can do, you should try autocrossing. The San Diego SCCA region has events at Qualcomm stadium once or twice a month. The schedule is here: http://www.sdr-scca.com/solo2/schedule/. You should also check out the forum at http://www.sdsolo.com.

There aren't any real tracks nearby, closest is California Speedway in Fontana. Then there's Willow Springs about 3 hours north.

Hey Jason thanks for all the info. Do you ever attend any SD meets? Or better yet are there any?

I'm not big into meets, but I go to most of the autox events. I know a few people here have gotten together informally for drives and stuff in the past. There's also the SD rx7 club, but not sure how active they are: http://www.geocities.com/sdrx7_club/sdrx7club.html.

I haven't been to any of the San Diego meets, but I plan to go check some out. If they're anything like the LA meets, I'm all up for it. I haven't noticed any real active meets in SD though, except for the southern rxclub.

Yes there are monthly meets all across So Cal... San Diego included. The SDRX7 Club site isnt always updated, so refer to http://socalrxs.org/ for any upcoming meets. (You guys just missed one on Saturday).

Back to alignments, Performance Tire is good as well as Lutz Tire on Market Street.

I live off Telegraph...what can I say? I picked my house because of the property value? I personally like Telegraph (old 94) a bit more than palomar and it IS an awesome drive in the 8.

when i first got my car lowered (in la, mind you), i went to firestone for an alignment. I paid like $30 extra for lifetime alignments. I haven't had the car aligned since, but it'll be worth the extra few bucks to get an alignment whenever you want, especially if you plan on adjusting the suspension often.

Yeah I'll be going. I have a photo shoot in Irvine @ Mazda HQ the day after so I was trying to find a place to stay Sat. night (so I wouldn't have to drive up there two days in a row). I found a spot to crash so I'm in. PM me if you want to roll up to cerritos together.
