I want to tint the windows on my RX8. I have a sunlight silver and I was just wondering if you guys could suggest some places in the San Jose area where I can get them tinted and around how much you got charged for yours. Also, what am I able to get away with for the tint?

 

I got mine done at hayward at auto creations. But mr tint is pretty good but would charge a bundle. I paid 120 for mine and its 38%. Like i said in my other post you can't get away with any tint in cali, so either don't do it and not take the risk, or take the risk and do it.

 

CHP hates cars with tint.. and if you drive a bit fast... they will definitely site you with speeding ticket AND the stupid tint. Also by rolling the windows down before he gets there will not stop him from writing that ticket... blah. (First hand experience)... nevertheless I have friends working in the CHP that wrote the ticket off... oh wells, 10 dollar fix it.

 

Do a search on window tint. I've posted before about different types and where to get it done.
