SF Bay Area: 100 octane pump gas
I just found out there is a Philips 76 station off Almaden Expressway between 85 and 87 that sells 100 octane gas. I believe it is the only station that sells 100 octane at the pump in the bay area.
This will mostly be of interest to those with turbo kits.

Dunno. I think it's less than $5. Based on more google searching it's at 3010 Almaden Expressway, corner of Foxworthy.
Supposedly there is another 76 station on Woodside Rd, Redwood City that sells 100 octane as well.
There is also supposed to be a Shell at Capitol Expressway/Almaden Expressway that offers 100 octane, but it's suspiciously close to the 76.
If there is anyone who drives by any of these locations and can confirm availability and price I'd love to hear from you.

I went to the Almaden 76 and was able to confirm they have 100 octane. It's only on the pumps closest to the street and currently costs $4.90/gallon. I filled the tank and 3 5-gallon containers. My total bill was over $130...
Using that gas I was able to restore Scott's default timing values and boost without ping. It's amazing what a difference two degrees of timing will make in terms of perceived acceleration.

Yeap.
76 at Foxworthy was the place I will take my Turbo Miata and do a 40% - 60% fill ups. (100 - 91) for an average of ~ 94 octane.
At the levels of gas prices now, if you think about it, this 100 ocatne is atually "cheap" at ~5 bucks per gallon.

Update: I have been able to confirm 100 octane pump gas at the following 76 stations:
3010 Almaden Expy
San Jose, CA 95118
(408) 978-5650
975 Woodside Rd
Redwood City, CA 94061
(650) 364-9620
However it appears they are using Sunoco or other non-76 100 octane gas. The original Union 76 Race Gas program is being resurrected as www.rockettbrand.com. They don't have any distribution points in California but plan to in the future. I'll post more when I find out the details.
