SF Bay Area: Open autocross invite

SFR Slush Series round 1. SFR SCCA autocross is this Sunday at Golden Gate Fields. My wife and I will be running in the third morning group. You're welcome to watch, ride with us or even try it yourself in your own car. PM me for details if you're interested. A couple people have expressed interest so I'm posting some additional info. Site info at http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/Sites/g...atefields.html. Look at the air photo. The main parking entrance is at the bottom of the photo. Tell the guard you're going to the autocross and then drive downhill to the lower parking lot. The route's on the left hand side. Park on the ocean side of the lot. Walk up to the gate person, sign the waiver and feel free to wander around the paddock area.

We will be in the third morning run, probably around 11am. There are porta-johns and a roach coach on site. If you have or can borrow a motorcycle helmet you're welcome to join us on a run. Members can also have one guest pay the regular $35 event fee and run their own car. If you think that's something you're interested in I highly encourage it. Don't worry about (not) being competitive, just have fun.

And of course for those who haven't met us, we're driving the yellow RX-8 with pickachu on the hood. It's hard to miss.
