My plan is to run Pax in SD in the afternoon, the hosting club always does fun runs and you do not have to work them.

CalClub, I will run BS in the AM so I don't have to spend all day there.

I don't think Jennifer will make either event.

BSP is 1st
SM is 5th, after lunch
Pax is 6th also after lunch

TART always has fun runs, $2 ea, and they do all the work.

Only if they put the Mazda recall decal on the underneath side of the hood. Better keep it in a safe position or I may grab it off yours for another 20 hp for me....

...My butt dyno felt a change...and only am losing about 10 miles per tank of gas...so not as bad as I was anticipating.

Speed...

800/802 are not available
808 is possibly available at the start of 2007 season
809 is available.

I would like to grab that if it does become available. Did you email Gio about the #s?

I think I'll run afternoon in SD and morning in CalClub too.

yes, I emailed Gio...he responded very quickly today.

This was his response:
"If you go to the Memership Info FAQ page you'll see when I will post
the
renewal forms, but also, yes I will make an announcement on the message
boards and post a news thread.

That user who owns 808 has up to New Year's eve 2006 to send in his
app. If
it comes after that, and someone requests his number also after New
Year's
eve, then it's a matter of which app comes first in the mailbox.

You're better off grabbing 809. Unless you really want 808 as it could
backfire and he/she renews 808 and at the same time someone else grabs
809.

Gio"

I will go for 809 then...and not worry about 808.

But I'm 808 man! I guess I can live with 809.

Keith, if you and Erica are considering coming down... remember the co-drive offer is there. I'll run PAX, so maybe you could run SM? I'll even be nice and let both of you drive.

Speed wants me to change so that our numbers will all be at the beginning of the 800's.

Come on do you really think KW will lower himself to drive a stock class car.... Then we would see how fast he really is.

question...now that we have the rules for the 2007 season, do we want to reconsider the points given for each finishing position.

I'm wondering if bringing the spread between 1st-2nd...and 2nd-3rd would make it more interesting for next year since we are going to have a full season next year.

1st=20
2nd=18
3rd=16
4th=14
5th=10
6th=8
7th=7
8th=6
9th=5
10th=4
11th=3
12th=2
13-whatever=1

shouldent this be in the 2007 thread?

I am fine with either way. I see what you are saying. the 2006 season (for RX-8 cup) started late so after only a partial season the points were already locked up. meaning this year if it stays the same they will have it locked up by august or september....

but on the other hand. if all they do is win, this is what will happen either way.... so I dont really know. yes it would make the points chase closer......

anyone else have a vote on this?

Yes adopt new point system
1st=20
2nd=18
3rd=16
4th=14
5th=10
6th=8
7th=7
8th=6
9th=5
10th=4
11th=3
12th=2
13-whatever=1

no stay with old points system which was:

1=20
2=16
3=13
4=11
5=9
6=7
7=6
8=5
9=4
10=3
and so on.
