Uh, I think it's possible, but it's probably too much for one day. May be able to run BS in SD and get out by 10:30 or 11 depending on the turn out, then barely have time to register/tech in Fontana. I'll think about it if you do it ULLLOSE, just for the novelty of saying I did it.

Already got the El Toro practice this weekend (stop by if you're bored and you can take some runs in my car), then the school on the 1st, then the SD event the 9th.

ohhhh I see, you mean run San Diego in the morhing then come back and run CSCC int he afternoon..... wow big day!

I think I will just run the CSCC in BSP like always. would like to keep the points going.
also SDR would still require a points card pruchace. simply dont have the money right now to be doing all that at once.

are you going to do both in one day!?!? that would be cool, but damn that would be a LONG day.

I did three in one weekend once when I lived in the NW. We did a Sat practice in Eugene, then a sun AM event in Eugene and a Corvette club event in Portland that afternoon.

I will try it but it will depend on the wife. If she wants to run SD but not CC then I will have to get her to drive herself so I don't lose an hour dropping her off at home.

I am going to run this Sun with the Porsche club, might try to stop by Sat.

The last school didn't seem to help much, must've been the instructor.

I just look at it as another practice, more seat time. You guys are doing well... and as long as I keep running old *** tires and you guys keep buying new ones, you won't have much to worry about.

he he he.

tiiireeess, is what wins a race. (days of thunder)

on that note, I have a guy that might buy them. requires shipping, just debating weather or not the $800 profit is worth it.

part of me says "take it!" part of me says "just run the rest of the season on these ones you have now." then the other part takes over and says "are you nuckin futs, get some 285's" hte the other part takes over again and says "dont be greedy, finish off the 245's first"

..... I dont know.

If you run the 245s into the dirt all you have to sell is a set of stock wheels and you still have to buy the 285s. If you sell it all the 285s will cost much less and you got the best runs out of the 245s.

I have a buddy with stacks of used 285 Kumhos and Hoosiers. He is going to send me a list with prices and age of the tires. A nice used set could take out some of the sting.

well, this is promising Loren You'll definately have fun. I figure, this is something that is reasonable to do with the car, a little safer than Malibu Canyon runs, and with the price of gas, the cost of tires is more than made up in the cost of driving all the way to Malibu...

Ghost is thinking of coming out to the next event as well. His new rims and tires are just about on the car now....

my battery died at the movies the other night. After you left, I pulled mine up for the second movie....dead when we went to go home. I got to push start my car for the first time, rather easy.

yes the RX-8 is a VERY easy car to push start! I cant get over how easy it is. very little speed needed.

I have had some cars that require a bullet train behind to get bump start.
