Updates on the first page post #1. I'll call them on Monday to find out what time they open. Preferably i'd like to get this done as early as possible. I'm shooting for round 9:00am. Let me know what you guys think.

we should probably start between 9 - 10 considering how many people we already have.
We could even look at ordering pizzas while we're there, etc.

I sent them an email, asking about what type of Dyno they operate, as well as if there are any concerns in getting cars that are lowered, and/or have body kits....as I have seen/heard from some that they use straps to the underbody....and I'm wondering how that will be done with my MS body kit and suspension.

Anyone have prior experience with Dynos, and lowered cars....any problems to consider?

I would like to come, and 9:00 sounds good.

Are we all showing up at the same time, or are we going to show up staggered, so that the wait time is not excessive for those who may be at the end of the list.

Pizza sounds good.

I say we all show up at once...talk about an AWESOME photo opportunity! Some really nice looking cars are on that list....

Kwescott: let us know what they say to your email, I don't think the kit will be a problem but I'm curious to know the details on the dyno.
Snowflake coming??

Does anyone have a white board...maybe we could write down results for each car as they go....post in order of HP numbers...? Might be cool to keep track of who had the highest pull, and then write what mods they have done.

Anyone have the Racing Beat flash?

Anyone have FI?

I definately will post any reponse I get from them. I know Deedub is calling as well, so we should get some response.

I asked her if she was interested....cause I have always said that her car feels a lot stonger than my car...even with all the mods. Would be interesting to actually see the difference. Don't know whether she is interested or not....guess it all depends on the particulars. Looks like we finalized a date...and a time...so I'll ask her again.

-No one on the list has FI
-I'd be willing to bring my laptop and we can make an excel sheet with people's names / hp / torque / mods if you guys want.

P.S. I hate creating stuff on Excel but if somone is willing to make something basic, I don't mind updating figures after every pull.

If you have a chance, would you mind asking about how cars are "attached" to the dyno, and if there may be any concerns with lowered or kitted cars. Thanks.

There is no problem with dynoing a lowered car nor will the body kit make a difference. I have never seen a dyno where this proves to be the case.

I am guessing it is most likely a mustang dyno. The straps are going to hard points of the car and not the body.

If it is any consolation, a race car is much more expensive and much lower than our cars and they get dynoed all the time.

What is a "Hard point"? I have no access to front or rear tow hooks, as the MS kit covers these standard towing locations. I would assume that Ngo would have the same problem with his kit.

If the straps come from underneath, I would see no cause for concern....if they come from the rear and must fit underneath the bumper line, then there may be an issue.

Only reason I brought this up, was that Speeddemon32 had his car dyno'd, and the shop had straps that went to the frame, which barely cleared/rested on his rear bumper.

I would imagine they would harness the car similar to this: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...74481431611117
(that's Mysql101's car)

Ok, the time is now set. They open up at 10am that day so we have it set for 10 am. They are using a dynojet ground dyno so those of you with body kits do not have to worry. They require you give them atleast half an inch.

Kwescott, these guys really know their shyt so you can trust them. They've been used for dynoing 1000+ whp cars for years. You'll be fine.
