any chance of having Rodger video/broadcaste the day...do you think there would be any interest?
I would believe that maybe having a pre-dyno interview with each driver would be fun...to see what they have done to the car and so on...maybe a driver prediction of results.
Also, been noticing that guys on this thread are making different preparations to their car before the actual day. I would assume there is some manner of peer pressure here, cause no one wants to have the lowest numbers due to some equipment malfunction.
What are some things that should be done prior to the dyno day. I have compiled a short list based on what I have been reading this week:
1) Clean air filter
2) Clean MAF
3) Oil change (this also works in Gran Tourismo)
4) consistent tire pressure
what else should we add to this list?

I'll be starting the new thread the day of the dyno. I'll have excel spreadsheets showing hp / torque figures and even graphs if you're nice.![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
broadcasting woudl be great but as we learned from SS9, it can be tough to get a decent internet connection.

they are directly under the intake pipe. The coils themself are being held on my a 13 or 14 mm nut..I forget..haha on the other end they are attached by an electrical sensor of some sort. That was the hard part, removing that. I would reccomend removing the air box. That will make things much easier.

so i wonder who is gonna flake...i'll be surprised if everyone on the list shows up..hahha
on another note, finally got to drive my car after coil installation. It deifnetly backfires less now, but when it does it backfires louder. =) Idle is much smoother and rev's up a lot smoother as well.

bryan, if you still have one of your damaged coils....would you mind taking a picture of it, or just bringing it for inspection to the dyno day. I won't get around to changing mine prior to the actual event, but am worried about low hp numbers do to bad coils....I guess if my 8 is well of the pace of others that day, I'll know the coils are bad...
