btw, if you guyz haven't been to neptune speed for some shop work, i definitely suggest it over going to the dealership. It's not like we probably can't do it ourselves...but its pretty cool to support the shop
i dropped by today and it was really cool seein' some friendly faces. Yoshi was yoshi as always...busy workin' hard on 3 different cars at a time while workin' on his...and ken was doin' his thing...drivin' a freakin' lambo!!
anyways tho - some whispers around that garage is that yoshi and ken are almost done w/their cars. - there's also some talk about a possible get together for customers and shop friends to come by and hang out and check out their cars....I got to see ken's old school fc start up...it's probably the best running fc i've seen in YEARS!! seriously...if you even have a subtle like for fc's...you'll love ken's fc...i couldn't believe how smooth the idle and the rev was. Clean pull all the way up the band. apparently yoshi's is just as nice but more aggressive! i honestly can't wait

+1 TRILLION for how awesome NeptuneSpeed is. seriously guys, if you need any work done that's the place to go. I even go there for my oil changes.
I'll talk to Ken / Yoshi next week when I get back and see what the deal is on this little get together.
I'm STOKED for those guys to see them getting their cars up and running!! Yoshiya has been working on his for well over a year because he's so busy working on other cars that he never has time to fix his own car.
If they do a customer day, we should all roll in together. I think it would be a fun day

Ken fired up his FC and wanted me to rev it up.
The reason for this was because I was inspecting Yoshi's FC and I noticed the mounts on his sway bars; solid!
he's got solid engine mounts, solid transmission mounts, solid sway bar mounts.
they were saying how awesome Ken's car feels with the solid mounts.
Well... you saw his Sparco seats and you know how tall he is. Now picture me in a suit trying to GET INTO HIS DAMN CAR!
omg, I'm glad no one had a video camera. Getting into it was like a 10 minute ordeal.

Dude I'm watching the discovery channel about bugs and theres this tiger beatle that's half the size of a grass hopper. This thing has these crazy mandibles that are like half its body. It can run 3mph and can take out a bug 3 times its side.
