I'd rather get a quiet midpipe and save my stock kitty! Didn't you say the hi flow runs out after like 15K miles Jedi?

here I go being misquoted again.

The 1st generation RP high flows were reported by a few people to be burning out in the 10-15k range. Not everyone, but some people.

You can tell the old high flows by the shape of the cat, earlier versions had a round cat and no heat shield. (if I remember correctly)
I had the newer version and mine busted up after about a year (approx 15k) but I get the feeling that it was more due to the fact that I smashed it on an enormous speed bump that I didn't see. Stupid MNAO speed bump!

the new high flow should hold up very well, especially because mazda's newer PCM flashes richen the fuel mixture to preserve cat life.
If you're running a custom tune that is leaned out...well...then it's anyone's guess how long it will last. I'll let you guys know how long this one lasts with MM's new tune.

Dozer you remind me of Bender from Futurama, you don't function correctly if you aren't full of alcohol

Jedi is pointing out my weakness to bacon! Beautiful pork portions!

What would be involved in upgrading a BMW system? It seems like everything is so integrated into their proprietary carpc type of deal

Rollerblades: we went to a Brazilian restaurant and they had steamed rice with bacon bits in it. pretty good actually.
Fried rice is awesome though.

What are you looking to add to the sound system? more bass? carpc? (you miss your old Metra kit yet???)

Ooo brazilian bbq..

Replace the front and rear 4" components and the two 8" subs under the seat. Replace crappy OEM amp with two JL amps with 3Sixty dsp. Everything just sounds muddy right now.. I didn't fork over the dough for the premium sound. Although the new idrive does pretty much everything my old headunit did so I'm keeping all that stock.

The Reverend: It's actually really simple, the OEM amp and car battery are both in the trunk!
