I don't go around throwing out invites

Feels too much like MyFace or whatever that site is.

But I also would have expected that an invite from A to B would have put A's name in B's list and B's name in A's list, without needing a second round of invites.

usually if someone sends in invite, it adds it on both ends if you accept.
