call Neptunespeed in Huntington Beach, they'll do it for you.
don't know what they'll charge but I can assure you it's less then the dealership

Ok, I haven't really noticed it too much but when I'm shifting at lower speeds to 5th I need to practically jab the stick from 4th, and sometimes it slides into 3rd instead of 5th, is this a problem or am I just doing something wrong? It seems really awkward to shift at high rpms and also to 5th.

I also got a 3 year extended warranty on it so I'm pretty sure tranny is covered, if not I probably still have my 30 b2b. Does it sound like my tranny is dying?

It's an 05, I have no clue if it has synchros or not. I hardly know what synchros is anyways. All I know is... Shifting at ~9k is very very hard. 4 to 5 is a pain in the ***. 1-4 is smooth.

Haven't received any tickets thus far in my driving career, let alone pulled over. I have a really nice radar detector and generally save my speed for roads with practically noone on them

my guess is the synchros...some ppl have had problems with them. Take it to the dealer since you got the warrenty...might as well try to get a brand new one while you still have the warranty

what's with all the n00bness all of a sudden?

Brake pads are brake pads if your 8 is your daily. If you don't do competitive driving then there's no problem in using Duralast cheap-oh's. I run with them and they're fine....but not recommended for more aggressive driving (which is what most of us do) i got my reasons for taking it easy nowadays (certain folks know why) - If you want a step up, i and a few others back Hawk Brake pads. Hawk Ceramics are good w/low brake dust. HPS and HP+ are the other two. Do some searching on the forums if you want those details.

misfyre - check out the issues/trouble shooting threads. I agree with what roger is saying - sounds like it might be syncros. Then again we'd have to witness it to be for sure. When was the last time your trans fluid was swapped? and what exact fluid did you use??? Redline sure, but what weight?
