Looks like everyone is at home in their nice warm beds on Christmas Eve. I'm at work and will also be here tomorrow. I fucken hate Christmas. I wish Santa was real so I could shoot that ******* and drag his dead carcass around behind my 8.

Posting here because I don't need to create another "power loss" thread, and I generally know what I am doing, but I'm stumped on this one, because I just replaced my coils and plugs, brand spanking new, and it has the symptoms of coil/plug failure.
And you guys are the most active on the forum...
My mileage has dropped severely, averaging around 9mpg now, vs 18-22 normally, I can rev freely and normally with normal power levels up to 6.5k rpm, at which points it flatlines, and feels like it almost completely stops getting fuel, and takes forever to get to redline, like 3 seconds in 1st gear from 6.5k to 9k. 4th has trouble getting past 6.5k, cause it just lacks so much power.
Like I said, I replaced my coils and plugs with brand new ones, figuring that is the problem, but it clearly isn't. My CAT has no symptoms of problems that I can tell, about to run to the store to get some MAF cleaner to see if that's the problem....
and I am hoping it isn't my engine failing, because while I have no problem with getting a new/reman engine, I am leaving on a trip with ~20hrs of driving (round trip) on Saturday.
Any ideas?

Seriously suggest trying to find someone with a midpipe just to test if your cat is faulty, have you taken it off and looked at it?
What kind of intake are you running? Had that issue with my MS intake.
Maf cleaner might clear the problem up

I did forget to mention the misfires in my previous post. misfires popping above 6.5k every time.
Cat, MAF, or compression don't cause misfires that I recall? Just a loss of power due to poor A/F or blow-back/blow-by, everything still fires.
My only mods are clear corners and the clutch bracket, and I hope they aren't the culprit. Everything else is stock.
Edit:
I am 100% sure all the plug wires are in the right spots, on both ends. And I double checked all the other connections a few times before closing the hood, because last time I changed my coils I forgot to reconnect the MAF sensor and was going out of my mind trying to figure out why it was trying to flood, couldn't rev over 3k, and had gas pooling under the tailpipes.
