i got new stickier rubber i just wanted to get my springs before i went to see how much more i can improve i know i cant improve that much cause the evos and sti's usually get 55- 56ish and they have few mods, and idk if the record has been broken but it was 51 seconds by a full on race car

I run 235/40/18 general UHP in the rear and some weird crap tire in the front.

Honestly its all about getting to know the track, and having warm tires if the tracks cold and your tires are cold your going to lay down **** times. I would get the know the track first on your crap rubber then get some good tire and run it for real.

Also with the dynamics of the car don't drop it to much our cars run real well when we are closer to stock height with stiffer springs.

ummm lets see keep your hands at 9 and 3 and always look ahead so you can setup for the next turn. Allot of times people get focused on the turn they are in and freak out they apply brakes or mess up their angle and come out of the turn all messed up, then the same thing happens on the next turn. If you set up to exit out of the turn in prep for the next turn you'll be golden. remember outside inside and don't correct the line mid turn, once your there your already setup. Take any S turns right through the middle if you can.

ummm yea have fun!

guidlines are pretty simple no leaks decent brakes at least $/32 tread left but i passed with my stock slicks and your positive batery terminal has to be covered,

for me it sucks since im 6ft 2 in and with the helmet i have no head room damn sun roof, and this track you wont go past second or youll lose momentum its really fun

oh and racing gloves helped me more grip on the wheel

Wow, sounds fun and very close! Once I get my new wheel setup dialed in I'd love to attend. How often do they do a time attack type thing? Cost? Almost sounds like an autox but with a designated track, sick!

Also, what speed would you say you get to in 2nd?

Angeles Crest Highway! Take the 210 West just past Pasadena, its formally known as the CA-2 highway. A great drive, not quite as aggressive as GMR at many times though
