OMFG!!!!!
for those of you who didn't know - today was my canyon tour day - I chose Rim of the world
anyways - i hit the canyon around 7:40am (a little later than i wanted but whatever) - the drive there was kinda blah - about 45 minutes of shitty highway. But then i finally broke out to the 18hwy. I almost creamed myself because of how beautiful it looked When i first started out I was behind this TL (possibly modded) - but i guess he got the hint after the first couple of turns that i wanted to go - he pushed forward as fast as he could but then finally graciously pulled aside - i said thanks and started blazin' away.
The beginning trail is two lanes all the way up and full of knarly high speed turns. I rocked steady in 3rd for most of it and touched 4th maybe once til i got up into the mountain - Then I pulled over for some shots. The lane then crunched down into 1 lane on either side - that's where the fun started. I hit the pavement as hard as i could without endangering other people and mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn I can't tell you how much FUN I had I punched it on clear corners and loved every second of it! The G Forces sent tingles down my back and to my legs - I continued on until i came all the way around to the 330 South. I started running into more traffic and other tuners I rode along side an Evo 8 and Impreza for a little bit til they dropped off at a cafe on the side of the mountain - one of them said i shot back a flame when i red lined! I g33ked when he told me
anyways - i'm taking some cut scenes from my trip up there hopefully i'll be done by tonight and post a new thread

LOL atilla that sick...I actually just got back from running the 74 with my friend. Id have to say it was pretty fun. It took forever to get there left house at 9 and it took like 30min to go through Hemet but once we got there id say the hemet side is high speed with some nice wide sweepers and a couple sharp turns.
Then instead of continuing on to the 74 to palm desert we took the 243 to Banning. Id have to say this is was the funnest run. It had alot of low-mid speed turns and alot of sharp banked turns like GMR glendora side. There was a couple times where we had to slow for people (it was like 10:30am) but most of everyone pulled over for us. There were a couple ******** but after a mile of on-your-*** driving they finally got the clue and pulled over
All in all it was a great time and since its like 15-20 min away from I live I'll be going there alot....but my tires are going bad
