going to get a new batter after work but my traction control light is on all the time when i'm driving could it be because the battery?

Yep, it's the battery. You have to reset your steering angle position sensor. What you do is turn your steering wheel all the way to the left, then all the way to the right, and back to center. The light will go off.

Go to AutoZone and buy their $90 batteries.

You can also get a discount by bringing and trading in your old battery.

ooo fun haha i guess that will save me the trouble for my spark plugs as well gotta buy those since i need need to swap out my ignition coils or spark plug wires

They don't sell spark plugs for the 8 at a normal auto-parts store. I tried Kragen, Pep Boys, AutoZone, and a handful of other places. They are expensive as hell from a normal auto-parts store and they have to be special ordered.
