I'm so tired of how my car sounds. JIC accepted my exhaust for repair May 29th and told me it would be 10 business days before it was ready. They warned me that they may have to order a part from Japan and it would increase the time by quite a bit but would give me a call.
I've been talking to them via email pretty consistently since then and cannot get a straight answer on whats up with the catback! I was told they did need a part from JP but they said they received their shipment about a month ago.
What should I do guys? Its been 13 weeks now and they can't seem to give me an answer! Biggest issue is its all being done for free so since they're doing me a favor I've been super nice about it but I want some sound back

I was going to grab some swifts or hyperco's but I'm drooping spring right now without a helper and considerably stiffer just doesn't seem like a good idea. RS spring perch is the height adjuster so they are damper dependent, I'm afraid throwing on some 10/8 or 12/10 would blow the struts faster than the school ****...

I dropped it off there, boss drives a dropped GTR!
They've all been cool and I've already met 3-4 of the 5 employees, LOL.
I have a feeling they lost it and are just putting it off. No one wants to order a 2.2k exhaust and give it away for free.

d00d everyone knows stiffer handles better. Same thing with lower. And louder.
But really, I ride in my friends wrx's and s2k's all the time, rx8s are so soft! It annoys me! Sure, thats a natural tendency of our chassis design but I care nothing about street driving as the 8 isn't my daily and I'd like to experiment with stiffer rates.
