The spring is already upon us and I have a feeling summer is gonna kick in hard just by looking at the kinda heat we had here for a couple of days...

I was thinking of hosting a couple of meets in the near future for this summer.

Here's some ideas i was thinking about:

-SHOW & SHINE: We all like to show our cars off - don't deny that ****...so why not get together and show off what we've done? I was also thinking that we could easily blow this up by inviting some other car clubs. I remember the SHINE AUTOPROJECT meet that was hosted a while back when all the import car clubs were invited - that **** was ep1c. I was hoping we could possibly host something at least half that size. IMO that would be a hit! -I was thinkin' about talking to Super Autobac's to see if they would do it again - or if need be, i have a car shop that's more than willing (and capable) of handling the capacity -

-Beach Cruise: Completed

-Install Meet: Sure meeting up at a friend's house and wrenching on a couple of cars is cool - but i think it would be a pretty cool thing if we could get more of us together in a bigger area and possibly have some food cooked up while doing so. I have no real details about how it should go down, so i'm always open to suggestions. I'd keep in mind that we're gonna need a location that's convenient for everybody.

-Night Run: This one may be a little tricky to pull off. We all know cops are gonna be our biggest problem - and keeping everybody under control is gonna be the next. I just think it would be interesting to put together a nice little cruise during one of these summer nights - starting some where general then taking it down to a nice restaurant or possibly a nice sushi joint - i would totally be down for this.

anyways...that's all i can remember for now...

what do you guys think??
^Makin' sure this makes it to this page as well

hmm, dang.

well its an 04, i got it used, and the previous owner kept a maintence record in the manual, but i never saw anything about replacing plugs, coils, or wires. so my guess is to just replace them all?

We'd have to make sure everybody has something to install - and has an idea of how to install it - they don't have to do it themselves but it would help if they had an idea of what they were doing -

ShadyCrew, I talked to my Autoshop guy and he said he has a VR OEM fender that he can repaint in WB for you @$400 installed!!! If not it will be $500 new OEM fender, paint, and install, I told him i might be getting sideskirts and he said if we need anything else painted he will give us a discount, like if i get sideskirts hell only charge me like $150 to paint them, he suggests only Poly Urethane.....So $400 with repainted VR Fender in WB Installed or $500 new OEM Painted and installed. I saw the fender when i went over there itsperfect! and he said he had found it and kept it with me in mind because he knew i was still rolling with the fiberglass fender. So take the $400 offer and ill take the $500, Let me know dude. Another question, I changed my front brakes easily, OEM MAZDA. Now im having trouble with the rear piston? HOw do u reset it? Sorry, I am not going to respond to your answer until tomorrow because i am going to work right now.

Jay ARAs i Mentioned in my previous posts, my autobody shop guy just repainted a VR out here, same guy i told shady about, so he can possibly do it for like around $400-500 front and back. If you want ill ask him today and get back to you.

Atilla I go with the Install meet, The show and shine sounds nice but who knows if other car clubs will be haters (like key cars or etc.), and who knows if other car clubs can keep the peace and not try setting up street races, or doing burnouts or revving super high, nobody wants cops popping hoods checking CARBS and checking for Cats. The RX8 club is very Chill and calm, and I'd like to keep meets like that. The Socal Beach Cruise was like a SS mini, and was a great SUCCESS, EPIC at that. So i vote INSTALL MEET, i dunno i guess i can buy like an intake or exhuast or something useful for my car....
