The car is a 1.3L with a single pipe coming back, the dual tip is just faux dual exhaust, a bit stupid in my opinion. I quickly fell in love with the aesthetics of the single tip, makes the car seem very performance oriented b/c the owner is choosing lightweight/function over dual fart cannon design.

for sure...but there wasn't much performance oriented with mine..we'll have to see though. if my new set up doesnt grow on me, then i'll prbably trade for my hks back.
it does look great though.

I love the HKS muffler setup but in the end its just a catback. Your current setup lets you tune due to no cat. You will have a better running car with this setup + tune than with OEM cat + HKS.
I have been running the RB race flash for a couple years now with no problems and loving it! Happy with the extra $400 in my pocket, not having to wait for MM tunes, etc.
This is the same tune many race teams use because it is not worth their time/money to tinker and gain a couple horsepower, or this was the case a couple years ago.
- Lower fan turn on temps
- raised redline to 9300 (actual cuttoff is 9300, looks like 9600 on dash when you rev though, our tach is laggy/ not 100% accurate)
- Some more ponies

you do bring up a good point with that for sure.
although i hear that MM tunes are really nice. at this time i can't afford the cobb...
i reeaaally wouldnt mind getting the RB reflash for sure. defitnely something that i will consider. i do enjoy not having the oem cat for sure.

they do help with revs...its defintely widens the power band.
i can easily start to get power around 4k. defintely helps when passing sometimes. i dont have to downshift 2 gears in order to pass. just give it some more throttle and i get going!
thats usually how i take it. whatever i can find on the forums for a good price is my next mod!
