Yes, it is due today and yes, I am still yet to write anything for my draft.

For me, I like to do a detailed outline with detailed research (in this case, referencing quotes/expanding upon them/etc) and relate the outline directly to the research/data. Once those two are done writing the essay is just a matter of forming my sentences eloquently while weaving in the right data at the right time.

Trying to get it done by noon. Why I force myself into all nighters, I will never know

yo guys how much do you think it would cost to mold a lip spoiler into the trunk, and debadge it and everything. I guess they would just end up painted the whole thing

Rev, you can't just "mold" something to bond onto another part. A mold is a cavity to use for creating a product such as fiberglass or CF parts. You can create a mold to make a lip and use adhesive or screws to fix it to the trunk. Or, you can create a mold based off your trunk, and take away more material from that mold which would be the space the new lip design would go into to make the finished product.

Basically, you would have to create a mold to result in a new trunk w/lip as part of the design if you wanted to do that. If you use fiberglass, you can do it around $100-200 with all materials/epoxy. The main thing is, time, a LOT of it. A lot of reading, a lot of mold fabrication, sanding, epoxy w/ fiberglass layers (or CF), get the part out of mold and test fit, grind/cut away excess material, more sanding, bondo or sculping, glazing to fill small spots, sanding, paint, so forth.

I did this first hand when I made a fiberglass hood for my race car years ago. It takes a **** load of time and you better be dedicated if you want to do it right and not look like a **** box.

IF you're adding just a lip spoiler, I believe most if not all just use 3M adhesive or double faced tape. Bigger ones such as +ings and RB, they use the original trunk OEM wing mount holes or drill their own.

Vlaze he's just talking about having the spoiler mounted to the trunk and having a shop put fiberglass/bondo on to it, to make it look like its 1 piece instead of 2.
