I need some quick advice please, I just got my coils in the mail and tried to install them. At first all I did first was try to unscrew the 10mm bolts on the coils with a screwdriver like wrench but like my cat bolts they are tight and pretty rusty so I couldn't get them off. Now, to get them off I'd have to take off the intake and try to muscle them off, or I can go to a shop and have them do it. Is it difficult to take off the air intake box and everything? I'm kind of clueless as to how to do so.

if you're having to 'muscle' ignition coils out, you're doing it wrong.
how the heck did those bolts rust? why is there that much water getting in the engine bay?

BJ loosen the screw that is on the accordion tube of the intake so you can push the airbox back. undo the harness that is attached to the MAF. The pull up on the two tabs that connect to the engine cover. then push it back into the accordion tube so that it clears the front of the engine bay and pulls out making sure that you disconnect any other ***** that may be attached to it

Because the DIY doesn't show you how to take off the air intake and there are no videos on youtube?

what part of the intake removal are you stuck on? it's pretty basic.
