oh seabass is good but not for fish n chips! halibut all the way!!!!

for just regular ol fish try and get your hands on some opah.

rub salt pepper and oil on it. sear each side for a minute then lower the temperature to medium 4 minutes on each side and you should be good.

I serve with some cooked cherry tomatoes and a little lemon on top.

so good.

Over in central NY, we have a place called Doug's Fish fry in a small town called Skaneateles. They've had celebrities over the years go there even over time and left autographed pictures after eating there because the food was great. It's an epic place to eat fish/clams/lobster/scallops/seafood gumbo, etc.

A lot of times the local places are the best to eat at and not the big names.

....crab FTMFW

but that's to be assumed since I'm from Md lawl

and to be honest, I've never had real fish 'n chips, I need to find a good place to get some

but yes!!! Vinegar makes the fries AWESOME! or you could always do what my dad does, go with the tabasco red on the fried rarely do i do it, but when i'm in a spicy mood, it satiates the need

Go to an authentic Irish pub and get some there. If the owner isn't in the pub drinking at 2pm on a weekday with his 2 cousins then its not an authentic Irish pub.

^That is FACT

I'm a fan of really good food (no duh right? lol) and i've noticed that the lil' mom n' pop shops ALWAYS seem to out-do the big name restaurants.
