so my mom wants to get the car financed under the a credit union instead of Mazda American Credit...and to do that they are putting it under my step dad's name, they are asking for the last 2 pay stubs to do it though. And he only has one so far cause he has to take a couple weeks off work for medical reasons. So i need to wait till he gets his 2nd stub next week and they can re-register the car and ill be good

when did the registration expire?
you could have your step dad co-sign on the loan with you, Credit Unions are VERY lenient in their under writing of car loans for their members.
the registration has to be paid either way, why not just pay it and whenever the loan gets done, the bank will re-title it.

ugh, had to jump start the 8 today.
I'm thinking my Optima Yellow Top might need replacing soon. I didn't drive the car for 2 weeks but it's just not holding a charge like it used to and the alternator is functioning properly.
The battery is going on 4 years old now.
I've got it charging right now, lets see if that helps any.

hmm Jedi I dont know too much about it but it seems like that would work...Either way it is pretty much next week and I dont plan to drive anywhere else besides work in the next couple days.
after 4 years I would say its time to replace it...its given you some good use

if you're doing the loan next week then yeah, just wait for the bank to do it for you.
Yup, 4 years is a good run for that battery considering the abuse I've put it through powering my damn amp all these years.
Not only that but I've had the battery completely drain at least 4 times and it's seen at least 4 jump starts. Most normal batteries would have quit on me long ago.
gotta love deep cycle batteries.
I seriously thought I had flooded my car earlier today for the first time though. I go to start it: crank, crank, weak crank, weaker crank, NOTHING.
I immediately said to myself, "oh CRAP! Damn car probably just flooded but that's what I get for not driving it." Grabbed my battery charger, plugged it in, set it to 'jump start' and the car fired right up. Gotta love those BHR coils.

looks like the price has gone up slightly since I bought this battery but it's still a good price.
I paid $159 previously, it's now
about $182.
