don't expect me to help you guys for ****.

i quit cold turkey with a family full of smokers. I find peer pressure to be the best motivation for me to quit.

i also found that substituting a vice with a lesser evil makes it easier to quit. I gave up meth to start smoking weed n' i stopped smoking weed to pick up drinking - then i gained control of both by getting a job....

There is one thing I really hate about quitting though... I'm going through the phase where I always feel hungry. I would eat so many meals and snacks throughout the day as a substitute for nicotine.

john: yah man, everybody i know that's quit smoking cold turkey has gained weight. That's when you're supposed to pick up exercising to balance it out. With your lungs clearing up you should be able to do more.

Mike: yeah man. winners - it's what we do...we also beat prostitutes when they don't pay us on time...

Why do people gain weight when they quit smoking?

Smoking increases metabolism slightly:

* Smoking burns up to 200 calories a day in a heavy smoker
* Because smoking burns calories, metabolism is boosted (increased) slightly
* Nicotine is an appetite suppressant

Source: http://quitsmoking.about.com/od/weig...htgainquit.htm

I'm sorta worried over this... o well, I guess I'll start exercising.

^exactly

Being a ***** in life never benefits you because in the end you'll discover that you were bound to be fucked from the beginning.

Ok, I'm going to make curry, eat a lot of jalapenos and yogurt.

These are suppose to help speed up your metabolism by a lot.

245/40 will be fine for a 9.5 not ideal for performance driving but I have 245s on my 10s right now
