yeah...bitch took my moniez...not sure exactly how i wanna go about it either...
i honestlydon't wanna have to go back to the place just to get a refund of $14 because it'll probably cost me more in gas...i think i'm just gonna file a dispute through BofA.

Just outta curiosity any of you local guys running an AEM intake get a wierd kinda stutter around 4500-5200 RPMs? Figured I'd ask locals in the same more less driving conditions before I send it to the trouble shooting forum.

@ Atilla- Thats my next stop lol. I been searching and trouble shooting for 2 days. Was worse when I first installed it and have managed to lessen it. Pretty frustrated at this point honestly. Thanks for the reply it's appreciated.
@Jedi- Yeah I installed it friday. At first was all kinds of off. Checked the screens and realigned them, tightened down all the clamps just in case and had a buddy come check it too.

you sure the MAF is clean and reinstalled properly?
did you cap off that nipple under the intake manifold?
could be your fuel trims are all off and just need to re-learn?

Screens are in and I've checked the other things out too. Didnt think about the fuel trims though. As I have said I am not the most mechanically inclined person when it comes to engines. For the most part an intake is pretty straight forward, but I still got a good buddy there to inspect my work lol.
On a side note you guys sure do reply fast lol I couldn't even finish my reply/edit before I had a few more replys. Thanks a ton guys.

definitely check for a small vacuum leak by the manifold as jedi said. This may cause some issues if not capped off properly.
just to make sure, reset the ecu using the brake pedal method. It wouldn't hurt to make sure. Then drive it around a lil' bit until it fully resets.

MAF was cleaned about 2-3 weeks before I installed the CAI. I capped the nipple off so it should be ok. I reset the ECU Sunday night then drove out to temecula yesterday (about 60 or so miles total 130 since reset). I have actually posted this in the trouble shooting forum too. You guys are awsome for helpin out a fellow RX8 owner.

Atilla - rather than file a claim, just call up the restaurant. There's a chance she charged the wrong amount then refunded, which takes time to clear. In either case, they can void the additional sale from their location. Chargebacks suck

that is unless you plan on selling your ignition coils once your new struts come in.
+1 on what rev said. They're working on the dates...i'm assuming that since it's so late in the game now, the date is probably going to be pushed back.
