So I am still debating on how to lower my car lol. You guys have had some great points. One last question though if you guys don't mind. If I do springs do I have to do shocks also or is that just to further increase performance? Thanks again for all the help.

you don't necessarily have to change out the shocks immediately...it'd just be a good idea. They will eventually wear down n' blow em' out if you drive hard on them for long enough.

THis is why i just suggested hanging on for a bit longer n' just shoot for some coilovers.

as J said before, you don't always have to keep resetting the coilovers. You can set it to the height n' stiffness you want n' leave it...if you wanna dump it for a show or something then you'll have that ability too...or if you wanna stiffen it for a track session you'll have that capability too...

iono, food for thought

the only reason i'm advocating atm is because now that i'm kinda attending more shows n' events...i'm suddenly feeling like i want to change up the stance a bit for a different look. Change is good

Again thanks for the info just trying to gather all the facts and make the best choice. It's looking more and more likely I am gonna hold off and go with a coilover set up.

If you are installing springs, you are doing all the work to replace the shocks too. Might as well do both.

http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/8877...-polished-lip/

you probly would have to do a little pulling on your rear fenders to get these to fit with 265s and not ridiculous camber

As long as you have a legit shop take care of the work, you won't have to worry about a thing. I would recommend picking up the wheels you're trying to fit prior to doing any fender work though.

Does anyone know who drives a legit Full Mazdaspeed (Front, Back, Sides, Wing) SS or TiG RX8 around the Howarrd Hughes/ LAX. This is the second time this week I see him going south bound on the 405.

Look like stock rims, gray for sure, no lip, he was oncoming so I could only get a glance. Looked legit though, with that full kit I wonder why I never see him at SS , you would think a local enthusiast would know and attend SS. NO FRONT PLATES.
