^not sure if srs...o_0?
mike: yah, soarers are legit - they're dope for long swooping turns. Probably would pick it for tracks like tsukuba or maple...
i'm probably going to stay with my FD, FC and 86' for tight, technical courses like fujimi n' such.
+1 on the r33 w/rwd being super hax. lol.
i wanna try a new car to drift with but i don't see very many options...i wanted to try a supra but i don't like doing powerover drifts....which is basically all it does...
i prefer doing a feint or flick with my cars...if i try that **** with a supra i'll end up spinning 360 into a wall

i tried an e30 or an e36 idk car gets too much angle too quick and looses it
tsukuba is my track ahaha thats why i've grown to like loke wheel base cars
i could never get the ae or fd right for drifting the fc is pretty good, but with like 300ish power levels, too much power and that cars not going anywere, since the widest tire u can get is a 225 :[

the most power i ever gave my fd was like 320-330 - that was the only way i could regulate the boost - anything about 360 and the boost kicks in really hard and causes the rear to kick out randomly. I can put more power in it but i always have to mess with the gearing.
the fc handles it far better but suffers the opposite problem. The boost kicks in way late so it's kinda tough to try n' flick it at tight corners.
The 86' is seriously cake to tune on forza. Full suspension upgrades and gearing w/about 280hp and you're good. It kicks out smooth and it simply becomes a game of throttle control. I think ima tune mine tonight before i go outta town. If you want, i can send you my tune
I think what really helps in this game is working with the gears. I try n' always make 1st n' 2nd short n' 3rd n' 4th tall so i can flick the tail end out and just stick with throttle control on 3rd n' 4th.
i think ima try n' tune the e36 n' s2000 next
O' Let's do it.
iTrader: (3)
yeah man send me the ae86 tune and if you can get the e36 down let me know, do you mess with alignment settings?
i try to zero out the camber out back and do as much as i can front so the steering tires hve a full contact patch on the turns

my camber sets for my fd n' fc are jacked. lol.
iirc, i have the front set at -1.5-1.8F and -2.5-2.8R
it's stupid but it works. I also try n' keep the sways some-what 'loose' so i can initiate harder and pitch the rear out easier....
have you broken the 1mil on fujimi??

nooooo i fail at fujimi i cant connect i barely got the 100,000 in one lap on 3
have you tried the top gear challegnes on 4?
you have to drive like a maniac lol

@ the top gear challenges
i finished it the first time n' was like "wtf?? how the **** am i supposed to drive??"
after like 10 tries i was like...
"i just drove like a drunk asian bus driver..."
Duuuuude. 1mil on fujimi isn't too hard. I'll post a pic i took w/my phone (i know, hella ghetto lol) of one of my drift chains. I can almost chain drift the entire section D of fujimi. I can get up to about 26k on one drift I gotta try n' get my tunes down n' i'll send them to you - you can change em' around to how you feel but it's just how i do it. I prefer lower power n' more controlled drifts. Its a bit more difficult than having a higher powered car and poweringover every turn...it's also a bit more difficult on hairpins n' switchbacks on section D (at the beginning).
i kinda wanna set up a sileighty tooo...buuuut i'm pretty sure everybody n' their mom that owns a nissan or is a nissan fanboi has one...pfft...

i cant find the sweet spot either the car is toopowerful and i spin or too low power so i have to rip ebrake lol
in forza 3 i built matt powers s14 it only had 300hp and **** would not break traction lol i had to rip it bit after that it was cake

i sometimes cheat when there's a downhill grade. I'll up the pressure on the braking in the front then I'll tap the break to get all of the momentum going forward then power over if the rear is being stubborn.
i keep the car low as possible then keep the sways semi-loose. Then have the 3rd n' 4th as tall gears w/around 300hp. You really don't need much power for smaller cars on big smooth swooping turns like tsukuba n' maple...its only when you're in tight technical turns like fujimi that you need some 'serious' work. Imo, 350-400 is good so you can keep the wheels spinning. Any more than that n' it'll be tough to stay in line.
a problem that i hate having though is when the rear tires grab way early when the rpm's drop too quickly...lol. I end up understeering into the wall n' look like a complete jackass on xbl.

how sad...i'm one of those 'hardcore gamers'.
there is someone else on the forum who is really good. He's actually better than me. We went heads up once on forza 3 on fujimi full course. He actually got 1.2 mil and i got like 750k or something. He doesn't post much though...i'll see if i have the battle saved
