I jumped on late last night around 11 n' stayed on until 1.

I was kinda pissed at my 86' - i seriously ran with the same setup i used in forza3 but it was wayyy different. It was a lot more difficult to do a flick this time around. I had to up the pressure on my braking and mess with the diff acceleration/decel. Even then i was still powering over most of the drifts just to stay in the top 5 of each race.

It was tough to kick out the rear n' even when i did it would either grab super early or kick out really hard thus making it harder to catch. I did manage to get a decent tune on it now but it took a while. It's still not perfect but it works. I'll try n' get on around 6 today.

atilla if your steering is on simmulation you are not gonna be able to keep the drifts because the car gets twitchy with counersteer.

my best drift cars are my e39 m5, the 86, and my favorite the new z4 turbo :]

wait, what are the other options for steering?

I've always set everything to simulation because i figured it would be closer to real life. I set it that way because i can some-what understand how the tuning 'should be'.

...that n' i'm an elitest - i set everything to simulation w/no assists and manual...the only thing i have on is ABS.

@ rev: HEY....YOU SHUT UP RIGHT NOW FACE SUCKER...

no but seriously, if i try n' drift w/out abs and i'm almost guaranteed not to make it through the first turn. I'll kick the brakes annnnnnnnd slam into the wall.

lol - i know, i need to develop a new technique or something...

I sometimes brush the brakes to get the rear tires loose but w/out abs i end up sliding directly into a wall. lol - that's just me being ******' terrible though...lol

yahhh - i only do that on fast turns (basically any turn after a really long straight)

I usually initiate early and kick out n' go side to side before finally doing a flick through the turn. Found out that earns an easy 1-2k before you even begin the drift.

btw, does forza 4 have the sileighty? i think that's the next car i'm gonna try n' drift other than an fc n' fd.

speaking of fc's n' fd's...i ran into a 7 owner using an fc on the game from LA that's going to be at 7stock. He completely bashed the 8 while we were talking about 7stock lol. He wasn't very good so i used my B class rx8 n' beat him.

I felt like a boss.

not too low (ie slammed)

i just want to eliminate some more wheel gap n' create a stiffer ride (no homo)

I think i might have approx. 2" of wheel gap

do you haz pikcha's? the memory of your car from the fsc show is overshadowed by my car and it's smashed front
