never regret anything you do, it's in the past and there's nothing you can do about it.

Oh Joey....you are cruel!!! How am I supposed to explain that to rory!? He's already astounded by how ditzy i was the first time i said something like that....lol
but seriously, you do have to make choices and not look back, if you do, you're whole life will be regret, and you can get nowhere on regret...

that's what we're here for.
I know it must be tough to think that you're throwing away 8 years but you're not. You can't look at it that way, you need to look at your relationship with Nancy for what it was. 8 years of being together with lots of great times, some bad times, but you guys were in it together.
Nothing lasts forever bro and those 8 years helped shape you and your life into what it is now, that is something you'll always have, should cherish and you are not throwing away.
If you move on, move on to better your situation and hers. Sometimes that is the best thing you can do in a relationship because to stay in it simply for the sake of "not throwing away all those years" is not fair to either of you and will in fact be another regret in your life.

well I didn't want to bring it into a dealer because, well you know why.
I have an extended warranty program through GE and I wanted mazdatrix to service it. So I had a compression test done. front housing read 6.1.5.8,6.3, 215 rear housing read 6.5,6.3,6.4, 214 so he busts out this ancient compression tester with a sticker of a compression range graph on it to show what was in spec or not (this graph was most likely made in the 80's) it said that it was barely in spec almost at the level of replacement. I thought that was strange because i remember reading somewhere 7.0 and lower is out of spec.
So he goes and tells the warranty company that the engine is barely in spec but still in running condition. I look on the rx-8 fsm and 7.5 would be right before failing so my engine is fubar.
I've been on hold for the past 14 minutes trying to talk to him to see what they will cover and I'm just upset. He just didn't seem interested in removing or fixing my engine at all. The transmission he had no problem with but the engine no way. I know its an 8 and all and no one likes working on them but you can charge the warranty company anything you want!

not to rub salt in the wound Shady but why didn't you go to some place like NeptuneSpeed or JRX?
those guys work on a lot more 8's, could have probably worked with the warranty company, and would have taken care of you.
sucks man
good luck
let us know what they say.

I thought mazdatrix would be the way to go... It's all good I'm just going to tell the warranty company what happened that they usually work on late model rotary engines and I want to take it to a shop that works on the rx-8's more. they should be alright with it. I still have 600 miles left on the warranty.
