Yea i always dress to impress and bring nice copies of my resume, for my job at kohls it started off as group interviews and in the 1 day they held them they had over 1,500 people show up. Yet somehow i was still able to stand out and get a job =]. it was actually very shocking to me to be honest
O' Let's do it.

yepp im glad my dad and honors english teacher showed me the tricks to good interview skills and appearance makes a big difference
it helps when my dad is hardcore about everything and he has had his own corporation for 20 years so he knows what to look for while hiring, so he always tells me what he looks for

it's also good to be optimistic about things. Not everybody is going to have a good reason in turning you down but you gotta stay consistent in your attempts to become successful. Just remain positive and remember the reasons why you're pushing forward. Never give up w/out the intent of progressing.
Meaning some streets are dead-ends - you don't need to explore every option if the outcome is obvious. Continue moving laterally until you find your latter and never turn back.
Iono, i guess i'm not really one to preach but considering that i've been fighting the job market on n' off for the past 3 years i guess i feel the need to share my experiences...Hope it helps

My counselor and engineering prof recommend me not work while pursuing my major unless I plan on being in school for a long time...they said part time 10~15 hours is the max per week i should work
Chels: define 'keep up' are you trying to keep them glossy n' shiney? or just for daily driving? Problem with white wheels that (normal) people dont' notice is that depending on the quality of the wheels, small cracks (either by paint or by abuse) develop where dirt can sit and collect which then may further hinder the overall appearance.
side opinion though. White wheels tend to go well w/brightly colored cars....IIRC you drive a silver xd? Not sure if that's a good color combo imo - granted we're talkin' about you pickin' up wheels of course.

Chels: aww that sucks to hear about your XD. Also sucks that you feel that way about your previous carmake. Iono, i guess its a personal thing that i can't hate mazda even if i leave it. Mazda cars(rotaries anyways) have this stereotype of unreliability and faulty craftsmenship to the ordinary consumer but being a person that's tried out some of the raved cars out there...i'm still not even close on the list of people looking to say something against it...
