So many idiots who don't know what neutral or "Ignition Off" is. Sigh, it seems to me that most of these people never really had anything wrong with their car but making up fantasies.

hey guys can anyone please help me fix my power steering? =\ i have no experience soldering wires and when i went to mazda they said that they didnt have an "upgraded wire" so i guess i have to go with the soldering direction. I have read the diy and everything but i don't really mess with anything besides honda (my first car out of a honda) and im really trying to get everything professionally done with this car...sadly...the professionals want me to replace the whole rack for 2-3gs... which is out of my range, so hoping someone can help me out. p.s. i didnt wanna do the contact cleaner because people said it comes back in a matter of days/weeks/couple months. Thanks in advance guys and hope to hear from someoen soon

iirc, the reason why it sometimes comes back is because of that overflow hose connected to the coolant tank is right above the connecter. I figure that if that overflow hose isn't redirected in another direction the problem will continue. I think that's one of the drawbacks to the 'cleaning' method. That's atleast what i've seen from a couple of fixes that a couple of our forum members have done.

exactly, the coolant overflow hose is right above it ( not conveniant at all) some people changed the hoes but i really dont know how to do these kinda things and im not down to experiment like i did with my other cars haha

Well after cleaning the connector out (i forgot what's typically used) you can always pick up an adaptable silicone hose from autozone or something and extend the hose out through the front nose of the car to drop by the undertray.
