Mike, I'm gonna ask an honest question: why do you need 2 cars?
the RX8 is a better car then the 7 and is more reliable. You should just drive that till you have a job and can afford to have two cars.

you having your OWN insurance policy is not going to be financially beneficial.
family / multi-vehicle policies tend to be cheaper because your parents can put down that one of them is the primary driver on your 8 and that it's a 2nd vehicle.

you having insurance on your own insurance at your age with a ticket on your record (I THINK you have one) will be more expensive.
especially for 2 cars.

I'm not coming down on you bro, I just can't wrap my head around why it's a good idea for you to have two cars.
I know you want two cars and having two cars is fun (I've done it for quite some time) but in your given financial state, I just don't know how beneficial it is to you. It's preventing you from enjoying your 8 because the 7 will be your DD and it's costing you more money in the long run.

Rev: good thinking on getting an upgraded ignition.

Red fox: working more hours is good or bad?
are you a salaried employee or hourly?
