thanks jedi I'll look into it later along the line but yeah i'm debating whether to get my d spec springs or just buy coil over system but I'm not tracking or looking for suspension upgrade i just want my ride to be a bit smoother than it already is with just springs to take the road debri and still be lowered i kinda miss having a comfortable ride

redfox: don't get coilovers, you don't really need them and the few coilover systems that are 'affordable' are normally garbage like Megans.

A good strut / spring combo is a better solution for a daily driven RX8 that won't be tracked. Plus, you don't need all the adjustability of the coilovers.
Dspecs are great as are Konis.

megan quality isn't (how to put this) very good.
For the money he's spending on those, he's better off getting top end struts like koni / Tokico

Shady: it all depends on the coilovers and how they're set up.
Example: I've driven Ngo's RX8 with HKS coilovers and it's AWESOME. Much smoother then my car with Koni's & S-Techs.

Most people do not have the knowledge to properly setup coilovers so they end up with what you described.

HKS Hipermax RS coilovers here..

They feel great and handle like a wet dream.

The bumps are worth it.

Question: So My wheels got sent out today and Im that they get here by Friday If not Saturday. The wheels in their packages together weigh 192lbs.... Divide by 4 = 48lbs/ wheel. The tires on the wheels are 235.35.19.... so how much do you think the tire/wheel's weigh seperately? LOL. Im just curious to see how much the rim itself weighs... It seems like its gonna be a decent weight for being 19"
